That original production was legendary, and the voices may be different, but look at the amazing careers these ladies have had. Loretta Divine has a great film and tv career. Sheryl is gorgeous and still performs on Broadway (she was GREAT in Wicked). Jennifer Holliday still sounds PHENOMENAL and looks better than ever.

I love these women's individual talents and voices. Beautiful to see them all looking so well and beautiful Perhaps schedules didn't permit more time to commit to blending and execution. However, I think that some rehearsal and polish would have producers knocking down the doors to have these three reprise the roles on stage.

For those who's complaining about everything from head to toe. C a n you do better? All three started from princesses to queens, all three have recorded and have memorable history that evolved to legendary success that will last for many many decades. Dream girls was one hell of a movie as they say its just dose not get any better. The cast crew and story had all the parts love it.
