In this Oldhammer video we check out the original origins of one of the most famous of all space marines chapters, The legion of the damned! This tale tells us of their alleged origins of being the remnants of the Fire Hawks chapter which were lost in the warp and reborn as the Legion of the Damned! @@SnakeWorksStudio I have filed away most of the insignia, and I will paint on flames/skulls plus some words like "born to die" No plans for a banner but maybe if I get the first five done, I'll give it a go. If you wanna check them out I'm Crimson_Badger on all the social things.

I'm not wishing to boast, but I got these 10 metal models on a "pre-release" deal from the Mail order Trolls in Glen Burnie. One of them talked me into buying them. GW didn't have the familiar box ready, but I got mine in plastic bags and a handwritten label. They are beautifully crisp detailed metal works of art. I had just gotten these out to paint up and use with my Sisters. Such great times those were. ❤ Great video Marcel.

@@SnakeWorksStudio I guess mine must be 2nd edition figures if I remember correctly, They were a 10 figure set, all metal. The flames on the legs and pauldrons are raised metal detal, as is the rib cage on the heavy weapon. I wish I could post a pic. I really do like talking about these old miniatures with you all.

White Dwarf #99 Index Astartes The Legion of the damned p.39 The picture of the Legions of the Damned that you use is located on WD #39 p.41 and it's a mix of 2 RTB01 plastic Space Marines and 4 metal Space Marines awesomely painted as Legions of the Damned.
