Finn honestly deserved better. I would hate my siblings too if they left me alone in a box for 900 years. He may have been the least problematic of the Originals had he been given a chance.
from the way it sounds it seems he was a huge problem for them thats why they left him in the box, even tho it was mostly klauses call. but still he was probably an ass. for example there is no way, elijah would let klaus keep rebecca or kol in a box for that long. in vampire diaries, elijah was gonna kill klaus.
@@jeffescanto reason seems to be Klaus is a petty mad and found him anoring because finn was too moral and hated being vampire. Finn was judgmental over Klaus and kol murderous tencis. Klaus and Elijah scared if finn found Klaus murdered his mother, and found Klaus lied about mikael . Finn would seek out mikael. Klaus doesn't understand Finn doesn't like is the most simerley to Elijah expert Finn loves parents more than his siblings.Klaus and Finn are simmler in fact that don't think family loves them.
Yup they never knew Finn felt most of 900 years being daggered being paralysed for all of it.. since others were daggered for only short amount they didn't realize passage of time
i even see a situation where klaus forgives mikael even, if not that he had to use his bones for the ash. once mikael got freya back, i think hes cold had started to defrost. and eventually there is a possibility if he had lived, even he and niklaus could have made up.
They could have at least brought Rebekah back before this so all the originals could be together for once in this show And totally touching moment despite all the hate between them they still cared about Finn even Kol
MrThejayvion Well, Henrik could not be there. The youngest sibling that was mauled by the werewolves in the 10th century. He is not an Original per say but neither is Freya.
They are always at odds but at the end of the day they are family, they will always care if one dies even the black sheep of the family. Even when they were in TVD Rebekah brings up the point that Elena is responsible for the death of two of her brothers which shows that they gave a damn. Not a strong bond but love none the less
Nati የጨርቆሱ ummm he did tried to avenge him but Bonnie put a spell on the house so he couldn’t leave he was about to kill Elena and jermey until Bonnie stepped in
@@nemesis4347 The actress wanted it so. She was meant to be a lead role with Klaus and Elijah, but halfway through season 1 Claire Holt wanted to leave.
I keep coming back to this video, I can't get over the fact that he's dead. Finn really isn't coming back. He was finally starting to fix his broken relationship with his siblings and then this happened.
@@anandiganguly3086 Yh exactly 😂, so irritating. I even hated how they killed him off in tvd. An Original getting beaten by those kids. They didn't even show him using all his power 😒
@@madnez93 I guess that was the point. They wasn't just kids. They didn't overpower him, they outsmarted him. They relied on each other and that constantly won or stalemated the day. Though there were times when the original family came together and fought for each other on TVD. They ended up saving Klaus from being gone forever.
I always felt the writers didn't want us to care about Finn. They gave him barely any mention before being undaggered, he got the most basic personality, and was killed so they wouldn't have to kill the untouchable Klaus or Elijah. When he was brought back, he was again given a cookie cutter personality and motives. Only during the last few episodes of his existence, did they make him personable enough for people to cry over. And even that was so they didn't have to kill Klaus or Elijah. Thank you Casper Zafer for making Finn Mikaelson a recognizable character despite what the writers handed you. #ThankYou #CasperZafer #RIPFinnMikaelson
The way he said, "don't leave me" like he'd been left alone for 900 years and he knew that those were his final moments and he wanted to die with his siblings by his side.... And now I'm going to go cry 😭😭😭😭😭 💔💔💔
As much as i hated Finn, i wanted him to be saved..especially after he talked about how he caught a glimpse of always and forever. I wish the mikaelsons accepted Finn like they accepeted Freya.
@@primalwerewolf9356 she's the only witch that's willing to help them without a price. without her dahlia would've killed the originals family and took hope.
@@aliciaborth3016 that is absolutely ridiculous. How many times did Damon and Stefan tried to kill Klaus? What did he do about? Nothing kept bitching. The point is that daggering him for so long is so sad. Yeah he hated what they've become but they could have just parted ways and live their lives instead.
I feel like Finn was very misunderstood,he only wanted to be appreciated by his siblings and to be freed from what their mother had put on them, he did want to kill them, but they have done far worse. This just proves that they are not that bad. Yes they hate each other but through it all they come together.♾❤️
This is the only death on The Originals that made me cry. It's amazing that even though Finn isn't a fan fave Casper did an amazing job in making us understand him. For the longest time his siblings ostracized him because he'd school them into reeling in their urges. They didn't like being on the straight and narrow so they ignored or flight with him. In the end though he just wanted to be loved by them and they wanted to have that time back to love him.
I do agree with you, but if I’m being honest just about everyone’s death in the Originals made me cry. (Unless I hated them, but then again I did cry on some of the deaths of people I hated...) 😂
Yep, when you get the backstory on what Finn actually went thru when daggered for 900 years you understand his anger...this scene...and the freaking music...((sigh)) very emo.
Even kol cried. Shows that family and brothers and sisters don't truly hate one another deep down there's love and it shows when one is hurt or at the verge of death fantastic scene.
Finn got the shit end of the stick his entire life. He watched his best friend (Freya) get taken. Watched his loving father turn into an asshole. Saw his parents grow distance. Moved to literally another continent. Got turned into a monster. Found love. His brother separated him from the women he loved. Gets daggered most of his life. Finds sage again only to be killed in mystic falls right afterwards. Then gets brought back as a pawn for his moms war. Dude may have been a stick in the mud but he didn’t deserve the shit hand he was dealt. Hope he and sage reunited on the other side.
I feel like Finn's whole purpose on these shows has been to demonstrate whether or not a weapon would kill an original, first was the white oak stakes in TVD and then Lucien's uber werewolf venom.
Sahab Tareq Agree!! In this episode he was for once close to his siblings and I hoped for him to be cured and reunite with his siblings or at leas Rebekah could have been with them. Where was she btw?
@@sadwhitesoxfan17 no he is not, SO STFU , and u dont have to put somebody else down just to compliment caspar, yusuf is a much better actor u just saying caspar’s better because he is white. i hate people like u
I did not really care about Finn because we haven't seen him a lot in the show. but that moment was truly sad and I felt so sorry for him and for his siblings... I hope at the end of the fifth season they will make something just a dream, flashback or whatever that could reunite all the family, so we could see them ALL together just for once
I don't think Finn would have minded living if he had someone he was close to. Now that Freya was around he would have at least been integrated into the family. I don't know I just feel if he would have had more time we would have gotten to see everyone getting close to each other for once instead of trying to kill or harm each other. That moment Finn talked about the promise that all glowed because it meant something to all of them, not just Rebekah, Klaus, and Elijah.
Kol said the most moving last words to Finn I loathed you for centuries even now that remains unabated but I know torment brother may you somehow find peace in the abyss goodbye Finn always and forever
Finn's death in both TVD and TO are fucking plot devices which sucks so much. We NEVER got to truly know him. They should've kept him as a body jumping ghost/witch. He never liked being a vampire unlike his siblings who LOVED torturing and killing people. Which makes him along with Esther the good guys in my book.
Kol may have been a jackass at this part but he did feel bad in the end and cried. Despite everything all their fights they all cared for one another. Their siblings and have problems letting go because they fear losing each other because they don't feel like anyone would stay with them. The reason Finn got put in the coffin in the first place was because he was trying to get killed by Mikael and Klaus didn't want him to die. He barely even knew his brothers after all the time he spent in the coffin. I felt bad for him because he felt like the odd sibling out. He was close to Freya when they were kids and after Elijah and Klaus were born they were close him and Kol were the oddballs of the family that's also the reason they were both so out of it. I feel like towards the ending of the season 4 Klaus was the reason his family was even remotely close to one another.
Finn was actually daggered by the Brotherhood of the Five when they put down all of the Mikaelsons (but failed because the daggers don’t work on Klaus). The dagger remained in his heart though because Klaus didn’t pull it out because he was annoyed with Finn always wanting to split up and not accepting their vampire nature.
I wish we could’ve seen more of Finns character. He may not have been the best brother but he was family. To them that meant something. To me it still means something. Each time I see this scene I cry.
Finn's major fear is being alone. You can see it in this scene when he begs his siblings to not leave him. After 900 years daggered in a box, he never wanted to be alone again 🥺 Remember when him and Elijah were talking in the car then Finn talked about what it was like being daggered and how lonely it was.
As a young teen I hated Finn for trying to kill his family multiple times but as an adult i understood his hatred for his siblings. Imagine being daggerd for 9 centuries straight.
They all loved each other and the only reason kol was be cruel and detached was because he thought finn was going to be fine . I loved freya and finns bond and when klaus said you'll drink from the source if you have to even after everything they been through was so touching
Everyone is saying that everyone hated Finn until this scene but I actually didn't hate him I only hated the fact that he was a foe. But at the end of the day he was still their family, like they said, "Always and Forever"😔 And Finn didn't hate them either he just hated what they were. All families aren't always on the same page. This scene broke my heart because we finally got a chance to see the Michaelson siblings all together (- Rebekah) but it had to be one of their deaths. I'm still upset about Rebekah not being in this scene😢 I cried on this scene but I also smiled because he didn't have to die alone. He died next to the people who truly cared and he died knowing it. All of their reactions just reminds me that family will always be family no matter what. Always and forever❤❤ I'm only 13 and people always tell me that I get to emotional over these stupid TV shows but these "stupid" TV shows actually teaches bunch of lessons
Hatred is only because that He had much less screentime compared to others hence lesser character development while being important member of the most OP and awesome family, but still it was pretty well done over minor role and the ~25-28 episodes he appeared including flashbacks
And also because he sided with his mother than his siblings in both TVD and TO, and played a part in attempt to Kill Hope because of the visions they got
Why did I come back to rematch this scene 😭😭😭 Saddest moment in originals so far like he was mean and they all hated him but at the end of the day all he wanted was to be with them and be part of their always and forever 😭😭😭😭When he says don’t leave me that actually breaks my heart
@@sparkles_1910 Kol was already angry with and despised Finn for betraying him in Mystic Falls and cursing Kol to die slowly and painfully in front of Davina. The Ancestors magnified Kol's temper and his hunger too, so the scale of Kol's rage for Finn may be the Ancestors fault but Kol himself already despised Finn despite loving him
Even Kol teard up. Always and forever. That was a saying they stuck by through all those years. The bond of family. Finn was part of Always and Forever even if he didn't want to be. This death hurt
Finn never fully got redeemed but he was still able to die surrounded by love. I'd say this is a good representation of how the Mikaelson's show their love for each other as well as their vow of Always and Forever; to give love even when they hate
I never hated Finn, but I never liked him but I started balling my eyes out when he died. This was a great family moment. It proves that no matter what the Mikaelson siblings will always love each other.
The Mikaelsons are dysfunctional as hell, but when it’s life or death, they fight like hell to protect each other, because even when they hate each other, they don’t actually want to see any of their siblings dead, the prime example Finn. Everyone did everything they could to save his life even if they don’t particularly like him, and they were grieved to see him die, even Kol, and he hated Finn the most
This series really shows that no one is perfect and everyone has their weaknesses and strengths. Like no matter how much they weren't fond of Finn, at the end of the day they are family and will stand by each other
This was sad but a strangely beautiful scene as well. The way they were all there as a family, the sad music, the way Finn tilted his head up while smiling when he died. Man only an original Vampire can die so elegantly.
It’s annoying because Finn was growing on me then he died just like when Mikael died he was also getting redeemable and it was cool seeing the Mikaelsoms get along but they just kill them off not long after 😂
Klaus and Elijah daggered finn for 900 years then in this scene I really felt sorry for Finn because he didn’t deserve to die and he was so innocent in family.❤️❤️
I understood fin exactly what did he possibly do to require dangerous of centuries? Besides be himself. Technically he should be the strongest cuz he's the oldest but spent so much time daggered.. he never fed on whole villsges like the rest, wasn't insanely cruel for the sake of it. Kinda sad I see why he came back and didn't cut em no slack.
I actually kinda hate them for not undaggering Finn, he was left in a box for 900 years feeling all of the loneliness. I would hate my siblings if they did that too. No matter how much a pain in the ass he was, they still should have given him a chance, especially cause he was family.
Another thing I never understood was Elijah's comment "everytime we made the mistake of freeing you from that box" and that he "threatened their very existence". Yet from what I remember, Finn was daggered by the brotherhood of the 5 and left in that state for 900yrs straight. Which is why at some point during those 900yrs, he began waking up but couldn't move or even open his eyes. Essentially a prisoner of his own body.
I so cry when I saw this scene it was so sad and I felt so bad for Finn he didn’t deserve to die not like this yes he has done some bad things but he really did love his family so much
Finn was exceptionally cruel as a witch, his worst actions came about after he was left in a box only to die after a few days of freedom only to return in a body that wasn’t his to have only to go back into his normal body and die soon after. He didn’t get any slack in the show and it was mildly irritating how the show runners couldn’t have all five-six siblings together for more than one seen
@@user-iv7ke7ux2w He should be Strongest in Human body coz he was eldest after Mikael but was weakest probably coz didn't drink human blood as he hated Vamp life, and Klaus regaining Hybrid Status would make him 2nd strongest in family, probably Finn was weakest coz of circumstances
@@user-iv7ke7ux2w yea atleast unlike TVD where he was for 2 or 3 eps we got bit more of Finn even with Other actor Yusuf in Vincent's body, and some flashbacks, and very Imp moments in his last 2 appearances 3*16 & 3*17
Still makes me cry. Not for the death of the person but the character. Finn was a character with so much potential and possibility. I wish things could have been different.
