Dahlia wouldn’t have been able to sense anything really. Ofc at some point maybe Finn could’ve unlocked some of his power and Dahlia would’ve done her thing- linked and channeled Finn but… meh. I don’t even know where I’m going with this😂

The show seems to be a little inconsistent when it comes to the sireline rules. If only Elijah's body was destroyed and his sireline died with it, then Klaus sideline should have been destroyed when he was killed by Alaric.

You don’t gotta read the rest of this because for multiple times freya tried to attack the hollow but when the hollow was against Sofya , marcel , Elijah , Vincent ,freya she literally took out all of them like it was nothing including freya she is even more powerful than the ancestors now because she fed on Elijah . She had the power to kill literally an original and then when marcel came for the hollow she literally screamed him across the room and he was unconscious. And when he tried to stab her she was an ancient spirit again and still took marcel out like it was nothing

And then Freya just stabs the hollow on the neck with her magic lmao, please The hollow is the most powerful witch, but Freya is not far, she’s the only witch who had been able to do so many resurrections, and spells that were so strong that no other witch did them (except for the hollow or maybe Dahlia who based more around the spells of fights and all that.)

Chris L no one from elijah's sireline died. That's the sane thing that happened to klaus in season 3 of the Vampire Diaries. If his soul is just put somewhere else, then his sireline is alive. That's why no one died when Alaric killed Klaus in TVD.

In that case then Elijah didn't actually get killed by The Hollow but was just transferred to the pendant, so how did The Hollow become successful in her resurrection?

Ah yeah I get that now. Even if the soul got transferred to another host, the body of an Original should still be intact, just like when Rebekah's soul got transferred to Eva Sinclair's body while her original vampire body is only unconscious. As for Elijah, his body is pretty much killed by the poison/Hollow's magic. Thank you for the answer.

Technically she didn’t block it as Freya still got Elijah’s soul into the pendant which is something the hollow couldn’t beat

CMSFilm And speaking of Tim, did everybody just forget (or conveniently ignore) the fact that Klaus actually killed Davina, too? Marcel just had the foresight to have a witch put a protection spell on her. I love both Klaus and Elijah, but I'm sick of people ragging on Elijah for killing teenagers and giving Klaus a pass, despite the fact that he's killed kids for much less than to stop some evil power.

The whole Mystic Falls gang were teenagers, minus Damon and Stefan. And they killed Kol and Finn, daggered both Elijah and Rebekah and put Klaus down. So I doubt the Mikaelsons consider teenagers off limits.

I agree, but I like Elijah no matter what he does. They have to bring him back because without him The Originals will be incomplete.

People have had issues with Elijah since season 3. It's not like they did things differently this season to make his death here more accepted. That logic also only really works if they plan on keeping him dead, but since his soul got transferred to the pendant he's probably going to come back.

fianle I didn't speak about any seasons i spoke about the change in Elijah Character that the writers OBVIOUSLY made for the worst.Yes some people started disliking Elijah when that whole Davina thing happen.Those wanted him dead some didn't care because they didn't even like Davina.But it wasn't until THIS SEASON that people are noticing a big difference in Elijah.Elijah might've been bad before but he's worst now.Elijah was the big brother who thought things through before going into battle head on.While klaus would be angry ready to fight.Now Elijah doesn't even care who he kills and if he makes big a big scene in front of people or not.Things like this were things Elijah would be mad at Klaus for doing.Most of the comments I've seen said they were ready for Elijah to die because of his actions from THIS SEASON.But of course he might not stay dead.

I saw people being fine with him dying in season 3 and plenty of people were happy to see him get beaten and bitten by Marcel. - I assumed you meant this season because that comment you made about making him less liked only really makes sense if you're talking about this season. Unless you're going to say they've been steadily chipping away at his popularity throughout the show all in preparation for this day or something. - I agree that he's doing things that you would expect from Klaus and not him, but I'm slightly going to chalk that up to the writers wanting someone to fill Klaus' role on the show since he's now trying to change and become a better person for his daughter. Out of all of the characters on the show Elijah is the only one who would really fit considering what he has done in the past.

No he DID actually die here. Freya just managed to resurrect him a few episodes later using that same spell and by channeling the death of the Hollow the same way that she channeled the death of Elijah and his entire bloodline.

Davina trapped Finn's soul in his resurrected body. They couldn't put it back into the pendant. Elijah was resurrected a few episodes later though.
