Klaus is free when he is with Hayley. His smile and sarcasm comes naturally. They bicker like an old married couple. He flirts and teases with her, which causes her to smile easily

At least they have a positive relationship which will help Hope a lot.

you can really see the chemistry these two share, they might have started as just a drunken fling, but they have grown to love one another as family and best friends and co parent very well.. who knew the big bad wolf would see hailey as his first ever equal. reffering to her as a queen were he see's himself as king. it has a nice sentiment to it.

Klayley is endgame. Maybe it’s not a romantic relationship more like a strong bond between eachother. Even though I do really wish it did lead to something romantic. They do have ups and downs and they fight like a married couple 😂 I’ve haven’t seen Elijah make funny jokes and made her smile like this scene but klaus did. Which is why my otp will always be #klayley and #klaylope

I see Elijah becoming the villain for a season and these two getting together. I've never liked Hayley with Elijah, they have no chemistry and it always felt like a weak plot device because Narducci probably felt Klaus and Hayley getting together was cliche. In reality Klaus and Hayley have much better chemistry and their scenes are some of the most memorable.

I think it would be interesting if they had a slow-burn lead to romance. I don't quite see the romantic edge that the Klayley fans are tapping into (no disrespect meant!) - at least I didn't see the potential until this season. Hope was created via a 1 night stand, and while Klaus has made it clear that Hayley is family, they have basically hated each other through most of the process. The end of last season and the progress so far this season has been really awesome character growth for Klaus and it's nice to see them finally understanding each other and accepting each others' flaws. I could easily see them building up a romantic relationship over time, but Elijah definitely has the upper hand as he put more interest and work into wanting a relationship with Hayley from the beginning than Klaus has. Idk the point of my comment, I just felt like sharing my thoughts. May everyone enjoy the ship they prefer!

Klayley was gonna be endgame if we had 1 more season with them alive... This chemistry was always bursting out of their interactions.. Wish I could've seen more of that.

They were gonna end up together if Julie Plec wasn’t obbessed with Caroline and killed of Klaus and Hayley. Hayley was obviously falling out of love from Elijah and was obviously smitten with Klaus ever since he came back from the prison world.
