Kol and Elijah are trapped (together, unfortunately) in this scene from Wednesday's episode of The Originals. Follow TVLine on... Twitter: / tvline Facebook: / tvline Instagram: / tvline
Well shit, look at Kol being the saving grace. Not only did he make Elijah realize that he has no right to be on a high horse when it comes to his family, pointing out that he has done horrible things to the people that his siblings love in the name of protecting them (Davina, Marcel), but he also drove home the point that Klaus has every right to be unforgiving of Elijah bc Kol got Davina back, Klaus won't get Hayley back & Hope will grow up without her mother.
@@_itzriazpvp9869 very much agree, but i think that klaus had every right to not forgive him, just like elijah had every right to not forgive klaus for some of those things. But i think she was trying to say how elijah acts like he does nothing wrong sometimes, especially here.
@@_itzriazpvp9869 you're not wrong. But I mean Klaus started to love Hayley like family. I mean Klaus does have every right to be pissed that his brother who preached to him for the whole time Hayley was carrying Hope that they needed to protect Hayley...and in the end Elijah was the one doing the opposite. Klaus also is pissed because he ( at this point) would have to leave his child alone cause he still had the magic in him so yeah I think he gets to be mad that his brother killed a member of their family and Hope's whole ass mother. Not to mention how Hayley would've never died if Elijah didn't stake Klaus.
@@Jordan-to1nc Agreed, let's not forget that Elijah actually knew. He probably lost his emotions in the memories but he still knew who Hayley was. He even said he recognized her as Andrea who visited him in France. He knew and he could have saved her. Yet he let her die. Elijah don't deserve Hayley. He knew that they were his family, yet he didn't care. Memories or not, that's who Elijah is. He doesn't care about anyone that he doesn't consider family. He didn't change after loosing his memory. Elijah problem wasn't his family in the first place. It was his stupid devotion to make everyone business his. Klaus killed people Elijah loved before because Klaus never knew what love was. He didn't take them seriously. But with Hayley, Elijah knew and that's the problem. Klaus won't be able to easily accept that because, Klaus knew that he knew. But Elijah let Hayley die. Klaus was literally in arms reach when Elijah stabbed him. Amnesia or not, he was himself and he knew what he was doing. Obviously he didn't know what his doing meant, since he didn't feel any love for them. But Klaus loss the one woman who was a constant in his life. His child has to grow up without a mother and doesn't know what he should do. Let's not forget that the first time Klaus saw Hayley in person in the last 7 years, was the moment she died. He was supposed to set things right by Hayley and Hope. He was supposed to reconnect with them, but he saw his brother who always had his back, stabbed him and prevented him from saving Hayley.
@@dheekshaaaravind93 Klaus was a bloody hypocrite and this was just is past biting back at him , he hides behind his insecurities just like Elijah and uses them to protect his own self
The fact that erased memory Elijah apologize to Kol for indirectly destroy the chance of bringing Davina back is awesome to hear, considering normal Elijah wouldn't bother.
DUDE YES. It gives us the perspective that Elijah without his memories is actually more empathetic towards other people and aware of right and wrong, without justifications.
"The journals, now they may contain information about what represents you.....somewhere amongst martyrdom and self-righteousness". LOVE IT! Kol always had his siblings #.
I loved how kol said what he said especially about hayley. Him and hayley never had time together but kol and hope got close and kol knows how much hayley meant not just to hope but to Rebekah klaus and elijah Freya and even his wife davina
I'd really appreciate seeing both Kol and Rebecca talking about Hayley, maybe just saying something comforting to Klaus, cuz even if Kol, I believe, had the least amount of time with Hayley, she still helped him to survive and he adore his little niece, so, fingers crossed
Glad to see kol say his pice he and elijah were never close actully we never saw elijah mourn or care when ko, died on tvd. Elijah´s family conist of freya klaus and bekah finn is barly and afterthought and hes indiffrent to kol most of the time. if it had been camille caroline or any of bekahs love intrest elijah and freya would never have sacreficed them like they did davina.
Elijah sacrifice his entire Life for Klaus. 1000+ years are far worse than a death. For me elijah didn t care about the other sibling because he knew that they could find their way without his help. Elijah Is Always there only for Klaus. In season 1 when rebekka live he was Happy for her and Simply said you are free
@@vedaadityaramsaroop2096 Pretty much yeah. The thing is, is that he didn't have a actual reason to do it. Stefan with his humanity off is pretty much the same as Stefan on a ripper bender. He still had the ability to think. He could have turned it back on. He just didn't want to. Hence: he's a jerk.
That’s true but Stefan killed Enzo for no reason knowing that killing him will ruin Bonnies happiness whereas Elijah didn’t even kill Hayley, he just didn’t save her cuz he didn’t know what Hayley meant to him or who she was to him.
Oddly enough that probably isn't the worst thing he's ever done to Kol.. Entire family pretty much left him to rot when The Other Side was falling apart. Oh and he apologized to the skank who murdered him... but other than all that I'm sure Elijah cared....😒😑
right! That is one of the main thing that boggled me about Kol. They seem to care very little for him but try to show all this emotion when he is hurt or dying. I understand that Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah made the "always and forever" vow but they treat Kol almost like a stranger at times. Wonder if Nate just couldn't commit to the show long enough to have more character development or if the writers just suck lol
Not to mention Finn. There cared even less. It appears when it comes to Kol and Finn they have to die twice for them to even care in the slightest. They only cared about Kol for a day and Klaus calling Finn a love sick fool who is better off in death. I love the Mikaelson's, I do, but when you look at it from Finn's point of view, anyone would want to kill people who put you through that misery and explained it away as you being dull. What got him even more was that he felt betrayed and abandoned. As we see when he's dying, he was like Kol. It was revealed that all he wanted was for them to accept him. He was begging for them not to leave him, Elijah even said something along the lines of "He's living his Nightmare, our betrayal." I just hate it that nobody cares about Finn until he died twice, hating him for doing something that most of us would do. If my siblings did that to me, I'd have the same mindset as Finn. I would give the same statement he said. "I've no wish to help you. All I want is to see you dead." I sympathize with Kol and Finn. Finn being stuffed in a box for 900 years and Kol only being undaggered when Klaus wanted to have fun. Finn being forgotten, Kol even described it as. "And Finn, well, he isn't in the position to argue is he?"
@BladeOfIce One of the worst things about these shows, is fans often blindly side with the heros, hating Finn for what he's doing without even considering how he feels. Hating him for something that they would have done. I mean, people love Elena and see her as this perfect innocent girl who does nothing wrong. But that's the farthest from the truth. She has oceans of blood on her hands. She killed hundreds of thousands of Vampires for no good reason. Committed two genocides. (Kol and Finn's sirelines) without giving a damn. She killed Finn, just because he was in Mystic Falls. He was finally happy. He finally wanted to live and he did nothing wrong to Team Music. He wasn't bugging anyone. He wasn't killing anyone. Elena just wanted him dead because he's a Mikaelson and he was in town. Kol, in my eyes he's the true protagonist of season 4. I mean, think about it. He was the only one who wasn't trying to make things worse. He wanted Silas to remain buried and nobody listened. In fact, he didn't hurt anyone until he figured out that nobody would listen and he had no other option, the only reason he started trying to cut off Jeremy's arms or have him killed is because he refused to listen and he was messing with things he shouldn't have been. Elena called him for a truce, but actually just wanted him dead. And for what? Doing the smart thing? Preventing what he was told to be the end of everything. He died because she selfishly wanted the cure without even being a week old. Besides, Kol never truly wanted them dead. You could tell as he didn't kill Elena with that stake, he apologized to Jeremy for the "sting" and offered to "heal him right up" afterwards. These two always get the shit end of the stick. Nobody loves them. Not even their family. I mean, Kol literally died thinking that Klaus hated him. That Klaus wanted him dead. Finn died after his family basically told him they hated him. I feel for them. I don't get why people hate them. Why people think they're in the wrong. Actually, things would have been much better off if people actually listened to Kol. In TVD and The Originals.
@@orphanprince5926 I don't particularly like Finn (killing Kol, trying to kill his baby niece), but I don't hate him either...and I totally agree with everything u just said...they treated him like crap and he deserved better..
I was wondering in what way did Elijah ever apologise to kol for playing a part in Davina's death, I mean he said 'sort of', it may have slipped my mind but I don't recall any such scene which showed us that...can someone correct me?
Nope he never did and that made me stop liking Elijah for a while and I never really liked Freya ( I'm gonna get hate for that) but she would do anything to save her siblings no matter who she has to hurt or kill in the process. And even if they thought it was the only option they could of found something else to do it was just confident for them to use the power from Davina and they didn't even think About how it would betray Kol because he loved her and all he wanted was to bring her back.
See Elijah was talking all that shit about his family being evil and then found out he killed his brothers wife. Elijah did his dirt and has no right to judge them
Davina will be in episodes 11 and 13. twitter.com/julieplec/status/932519924160913408 Kolvina in the background, 5x13. twitter.com/OrginalFan/status/941702346815483904
This whole Elijah thing is so annoying. It's nothing but a drag. Poorly written. We don't give a fuck about wasting time trying to regain his memory. Bring on the action
i agree, though it does look better than Nathaniel's usual beared look. and i don't hate it as much as i thought i would. my problem with it is Kol is supposed to be about 17-18. and its already hard enough to believe Nate as that age with a clean shaven face and makeup to make him look more youthful. So i don't understand why they let the actor keep the beard this time when every other time they had him shave it off.
