You cut out the most significant scenes of the episode, how Klaus wants to get the baby out at all costs, that tells us how much he cares about his daughter. And how Hayley connect with Klaus with the phrase "Nothing true" and the crib scene. It shows us the development of their relationship.

I am so sorry to all ppl who waited for this episode because Elijah and Hailey, but for me highlight of the episode was the moment between Hailey and Klaus, just because they got so far ,I expected for kiss to happened so that wasn't suprise,but that little talk between Hailey and Klaus was unexpected.

Don't you like how Genevieve says some humans find peace then pauses and says "some don't" as if something bad happens to them? Season 1 of TO premiered in 2013, and they already eluded to hell which was the season 8 plot in TVD which ended in 2017

One of my fave season 1 episodes. Finally the first Haylijah kiss 🥰, also when Klaus says to Marcel "I'd expect nothing less" and when Hayley answers Klaus' question about what Mikael said to her with "nothing true". Beautiful.

I loved Klaus and Marcel’s relationship. It was complicated and volatile at times but there was so much love there. That conversation with Marcel, and the one with Hayley were the highlights of this episode for me. The familial relationships were definitely the strongest aspects of this show imo!

I am a Haylijah shipper and their kiss in this episode is a big moment but I do absolutely love the scene of Klaus showing Hayley the baby's room and like everyone else, sad to not see it included. It really is a turning point for them and just an overall sweet moment between parents. Hayley and Klaus' partners and parents dynamic is done really well in the series in my opinion. I still live for Hayley and Elijah finally kissing though, they're my second favorite ship of the show.

One of my my favourite moments in this episode (there's so many good ones in this episode) that you didn't show is when Klaus and Hayley talk after she meets mikael and he asks her what mikael said and and her response is 'nothing true'. That entire scene from the crib to their conversation was just perfect. Hayley and Klaus' relationship and their dynamic is one of the most interesting to me on the show (not in a romantic way), and when they have scenes together it's always great
