The Elijah and Hope content we were robbed of all season we finally got here! They have a such a great dynamic together, i wish we could have seen more. I will say more after the finale episode but I also agree about letting Elijah die to be with Haley and end his suffering and Klaus raise his daughter but I'll come back to that on that finale...Even though I'm a Haylijah shipper I'm so happy haley has the wolves and Jackson in the afterlife because I didn't want her to be alone. Also I just like to believe that haley, elijah, and jackson would be in a poly relationship together because why not, it's the afterlife and everyone get's to be happy!

Great episode. Nice to see Elijah and Hope having some time together. Love the focus on Hope this episode, exploring how she's feeling and coping. Glad she got to see her mum, wake up to her dad and have a dance under moonlight. Seeing Klaus and Hope bonding over the turn is beautiful. Klaus was robbed of his connection to his wolf side, so he knows how important it is that she connects to hers. The development for Klaus's character is beautiful. One hell of a cliffhanger, can't wait for the finale.

I think I might know where he has the stake from... remember in season 3, when Stefan tried to kill him, right before they found out all the vampires are linked to the originals? It was like ep 17,18 or 19... I think Klaus took the bloody stake and he kept it all this time.

He wouldn't have kept it , if so we would have known in TO S3 . I just think that white oak trees will keep growing as long as an original vampire exist. So a white oak tree manage to grow back in mystic falls therefore klaus went lumberjack mode to cut a teenager white oak tree and created a stake with it.

@@Nika-io4bz he did. We saw him burn it when Esther was in Rebekah’s body, but the real one was turned into the gray stale, which was destroyed by Dahlia. There are no stakes from TVD that survived

Technically those "artifacts" in the salvatore boarding house, Stefan's journals and the picture of Katherine shouldn't exist. They burned that picture of Katherine in season 2, and turned it into a dust to knock Katherine out so Jeremy could get the moonstone from her. And stefan burned all his journals he ever had in season 5 when he lost his memory and burned em because he found out elena was with damon instead of him and didn't wanna be reminded of a life he couldn't remember.

Yes the Alaric & Caroline thing always creeped me tf out too & I always hated Caroline but her & Alaric & her & Stefan never made sense to me they never had any romantic chemistry it was just weird Edit: I think Klaus should’ve let Elijah take the power of the hollow to make up for all he’s done & so Hope will still have a parent

He does actually say, he kept it from decades earlier. During the period when he was estranged from Elijah he was massively depressed and considered killing himself, he kept this stake hidden in case he wanted it.

@@davidjones272 If that was the case, why did he never use it on Mikael, Lucien, or Marcel when they all tried to kill him and his family, especially after the indestructible stake was destroyed? During the prophecy the witch that saw the weapon didn't see that Klaus had some white oak he was keeping hidden? All their searching for that wooden knight and there was a stake under everyone's noses the whole time? It just felt like the writers needed a convenient plot device.

It was absolutely a plot device, but sometimes we need to just overlook them. In this case, if there wasn't a stake, we couldn't have the ending to the final episode, which is why it HAD to be a stake that could be split and not something else, like Marcel's venom. So yes: plot device, but a necessary one that we should just try not to examine too closely 😉
