Lucien was literally the first non original ever, theoretically his vampire abilities should be the Pinnacle of all vampires besides the originals, the most powerful vampire ever sired by the originals

yes exactly, that is why season 3 is so interesting to me. Ofc we got history, but we also got something else other than the original family business. Finally someone who could possibly considered equal to the originals in a hand to hand fight.

These are ancient vampires, most 900-1000 years old all almost as strong as an original and since they have a huge numbers advantage on top of that it makes them feel threatening unlike Marcel's army of baby/young vamps that they tore through so easily

The actors who played Lucien, Hayley, & Rebekah were all on a show together called H2O. Lucien wasn't a regular on the show however but its so funny having them reunite on The Originals in a different universe 😂

Tristan really has a Game of Thrones like jealousy for Aurora. But this season is amazing. Non-stop danger. With the prophecy they are all pretty much screwed. Either trying to stop it will cause it, or it will happen regardless. Prophecies as plot devices are very interesting.

Jesus why is there a spoiler in every single video. You try avoiding giving a spoiler by giving two options but don't even realize that you still are

@@Hybred I didn't spoil anything, it's common sense that the whole point of a prophecy means much of it will probably happen. Happens in every story where they add prophecies. I didn't reveal anything that will or will not happen. JerBear I'm sure knows the whole prophecy is something that will be a major point of the whole season. Calm down. Happens in Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, etc.

@@sunshinesam6399 There's so many movies and shows where there is a foretold prophecy and it is not fulfilled. It comes close but at the end something happens, so you are wrong. We also have the fact that Jer has no idea if the prophecy is forged or if it is genuine, nor do the Mikaelson's for that matter at this point so the viewer can't either. So yes it is absolutely a spoiler. You know the problem with spoiler comments like these on all these videos is they come by people who are trying not to spoil but they have their own defintion of the word and they lack the situational awareness to realize they shouldn't give information if they don't have to. "its not that big! He may of already known!" just shut the hell up about future events that have not happened yet, stating anything that has not happened is a spoiler. Its better safe than sorry, I am CERTAIN that he did/does not know for sure the Mikaelson's will fall, how can you not see that?

I really like that in this season right from the start we are getting introduced to properly old vampires... This is not child's game; Damon, Stefan, even Marcel are just babies compared to these 1000, 900, 800+ year old vamps. And I love the fact that a lot of Elijah's sire line is organized in a Secret Order type shit unlike the other sire lines... The Strix are very interesting and the story behind it is awesome. Meanwhile we have this whole prophecy thing and the Mikaelsons now have to watch their backs even among their own; When Elijah said the line about "Who among our family do you suppose has the greatest predilection for betrayal?", it was like "Go ahead Klaus, raise your hand, don't be shy" LOL

I love how you are also able to analyze previous writting patterns, based on the past seasons and TVD, and you keep guessing the things that will happen by the end of the episode, or even the next scene. I think that's one of my favorite things about your reactions. When I said a lot of things in this show is predictable, that's exactly what I meant.

Another episode when Elijah irritates me a little lol I'm angry at Klaus because of Gia too, so I understand that part and I don't think what he did to the wolfs was good, but the fact that none of them thought that Klaus can be mad at them too, is just so frustrating for me... Elijah knew about Hayley and Jackson plan and Hayley (even tho she obviously was trying to do the best for Hope) she did exactly the same thing that she is so angry about with Klaus now. Klaus have every right to be mad at them or hurt by their decisions, but they are acting like the only person who did something bad at the end of s2 was Klaus and the rest of them was just perfect, when they did bad things too... But on the other hand - Elijah putting Marcel on his place it's a great scene. s3 has a brilliant humor!

Aya is here!! That's a baaaaaaaaaad bitch and we stan. Love this episode simply for the chance to see the first vampire they ever turned and how they made the discovery that they had this ability. Also I really love Klaus' apology because it was definitely sincere here. And you're right, he is realizing that he took it too far and is now trying to actually make up for that and showing he does care. I smell progres!

Hypocritical for sure! Let's not forget how Elijah killed Tatia, who was someone Klaus loved and Klaus forgave him! Elijah did not love Gia so i don't believe that Gia is the reason why Elijah is that mad. It's a 100% because of Hayley and the fact that Klaus would not help free her from the curs immediately. All of the originals minus Freya, have hurt each other over the years so yes, it's beyond hypocritical of Elijah to act like he is better than Klaus. None of them are better. The fact that Klaus is not acting the way Elijah is and has let go of the fact that they daggered him shows how much he has grown. He is remorseful and he is trying to apologies even thought none of them have apologised to him.

I mean I watch it for one reason - Hope Andrea Mikaelson! She’s the best character in it. The other characters don’t come close and the plot is much weaker. Speaking of weak… they have underpowered Hope versus her in the originals which is really really annoying

I watched four episodes and I had to stop. I like Alaric and Hope. And I tried but it is to watch but it is different from how TVD and TO was told. I know it’s suppose to draw in a younger audience so it's meant to be different. Unfortunately that difference is what lost me.

They are all really awesome brilliant shows (just like Arrested development) with only around 30 episodes (20min long) so you can finish them pretty fast!

Elijah didn't say a single word when Hayley was taking Klaus' daughter from the entire Mikaelson family, yet continues to treat Klaus like this like he didn't save Hope with his plan. Yes, what Klaus did was vindictive but Hayley taking away Hope would have resulted in her death by Dahlia and possibly Hope would have been taken away either way. So I don't understand Elijah's reasoning at all.

Elijah loves to talk about betrayal bruh when Klaus was being beaten by Mikael u did NOTHING! When Esther and Mikael were putting the hybrid curse on Klaus they needed help who helped oh u did Elijah the betrayal started with Klaus’ so call family they all saw what Mikael was doing none of them did a thing. Also Elijah u daggered Klaus allowing Hope to be kidnapped from him forever.

He knows Madi dies, he knows Lexa dies, he knows that Octavia became blodreina, and so so much more. It isn't gonna be a spoiler. He's already seen pretty much all of the show, just little bits and pieces of it.
