Something I loved about this season was they made Finn more of a like able character and apart of the family. In TVD nobody really cared about Finn death but in this season people were actually sad about Finn’s death
I agree finn had great character development this season and he finally was united with his sibling and part of the family. It’s such a shame that he died so soon he truly deserved better. He definitely was a character favourite for me this season.
Season 3 was my favorite. It wasn't their mighty parents that defeated them, but their own sired, their own children in a sense. Defeated by their own creations was kind of poetic.
Klaus told Marcel "I had no choice" when killing Davina and Marcel didn't believe him in ep 21 and then Elijah told Klaus "I had no choice" after killing Marcel and Klaus didn't believe him, just like Marcel did. You can see the realization in Klaus's face when he finally understood what Marcel felt. Its so subtle and sad
Season 3 to me, was the best season of the Originals. Season 4 is a close second though, and I love it almost as much. Can’t wait to see your reactions to it!
Season 3 from ep 21 was literally a self-fulfilling prophecy. If Elijah hadn't saw the prophecy and therefore acted on it he wouldn't of killed Marcel. Marcel just wanted to test their reaction before he decided if he wanted to kill them, & they made the wrong choice.
Yeah, the Mikaelsons fulfilled the prophecy by making all the wrong decisions. I think that if Elijah hadn’t killed Marcel, and Klaus got through to him like he was starting to, Marcel would’ve either let the serum pass through his system or killed himself later and became the super hybrid. I think, if he would’ve killed himself, he wouldn’t have hurt the Mikaelsons yet. It just would’ve been extra protection for himself, and the knowledge that he was on equal footing with them, in case they tried to do anything again.
@@baileym8303 I always wonder with all these shows that have prophecies, if the prophecy would just come true anyways. Like of Klaus had gotten through to Marcel but Marcel had killed him self for that self reassurance, would Klaus and Elijah have been _really_ angry about it? Thus making the events play out as they did in the visions? It’s interesting to think about
In episode 1 where they first showed the prophecy and the Beast, did anyone else think that the silhouette looked like Marcel's actor? When I first saw it I was thinking, is that Marcel?

Your reactions were on point👌🏼 I cannot tell you how much I repeated several scenes to watch your eyes open wide and your mouth drop😅 Oh man did I look like this the first time I watched the originals??😳 Plus I love that you’re an emotional guy, but you try not to be🤣🤣 like in the scene where Elijah was dying and talking to Hayley, you were like okay I’mma distract myself for a while, I gotta catch my breath. “Oh wait how did you sweat like this? Exercice or water? Mmmm” I laughed my ass out🤣🤣 Thank you for this amazing season and cannot wait for the 4th and 5th👌🏼

Mhm, I agree with JerBear. Most heartbreaking scene: Cami's death. Best kiss: Klaus and Cami's kiss. Favourite quote: Klaus to Cami - I will carry you with me. As much as he loves Hayley, he knows where the true outpouring of love should go. Also, yes, Vincent is right up there as favourite character. 👏👏 👏
6:30 Rebekah was the first to intentionally heal though (when she found Aurora in her bed). I know Klaus did it to Lucien first, but still. I wish we’d gotten to see more of Tristan & Elijah and how Tristan turned. I loved Hayley and Vincent this season. It felt like this was the first season where they really come into their own. I also loved Lucien as both a friend providing some comedic relief and as a villain. But Marcel’s arc was just phenomenal.
Season 2 is still my favourite season, because I didn't like Tristan, Lucien and especially Aurora at all, which makes s3 my second fave season after s2. I'm excited for the reactions to last two seasons of this show, but I have to admit I personally am not the biggest fan of these seasons.
