Since supergirl came out, CW’s DC shows have been nothing bu feminist and LGBTQ+ propaganda, and I do mean propaganda. It’s one thing for those aspects of a character to affect the storyline and decision making for the sake of a narrative, it’s another for it to just be crammed into every aspect of a show.

"Time to be powerful" WTF? Batman was never about "being powerful." Batman was about a man harnessing his fears and pain in order to turn them against criminals. He doesn't have superpowers and he wins against villains like Bane not because he's more powerful, but because he is driven, tenacious, and intelligent. He is the least powerful member of the Justice League, and frequently must fight through injuries, such as in The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight Returns. He doesn't wear the suit for the sake of himself or his ego, but because he is compelled to defend the innocent and protect others from meeting the same fate as his parents. This line of dialogue shows how little the writers of this show understand the essence of Batman.

I saw a comment on a different video that said this show must be being used as a cover for money laundering because the fact it got a season 3 is mind blowing.

I must admit I never realized being Batman was so easy, just slip on a suit and away you go no need for years of mental and physical training which never stops and almost takes over your whole life. Those suits are the real heroes.

You know a Batman who relied on his suit and was compelling? Batman Beyond's Terry McGinnis. He relied on Bruce Wayne and the suit at first. He did ask himself if it was the suit that made himself Batman or not. Terry eventually had to fight an AI possessing his suit and won using only an old school Bat Utility Belt and a mask.

That whispered "Time to feel powerful" sounds like it came from a kid that just stole their dad's gun. It sounds about as heroic, too.

I don’t know if you remember it but when you said about canceled shows, it reminded me of a sci fi show I loved growing up. Flash forward. Yeh it was a bit far fetched but it was complex and fascinating and there was so much cliffhanger left at the end of the only season I can’t bring myself to rewatch it. So sad.

This is a core issue with a lot of U.S. television. Lot of televising what characters are thinking by saying rather than showing. It's ESPECIALLY becoming problematic in diversity driven shows. I feel like it's a slap in the face to its viewers intelligence.
