That was the whole plan of the Strix....And Elijah's sideline was never broken they died in S4 when he did and got put in the pendant...There are no potholes in the OG

My favorite series because of Klaus and their family which makes me want to have a family in my future. And along with that keeping the love language of Family as a real life thing for me and my future family.

My by far favorite scene of this show is in the season 1 finale when klaus gives hope to rebekah and the lines ”what’s her name?” ”Hope, her name is hope”. I get chills every. single. time.😭

My favourite is The Originals because it was more family centered. Tvd was more relationship centered. And we saw Elijah finally get what he's been fighting for, for years....Klaus redemption. We saw Klaus turning into a loving father. Hope was in it...need I say less she was adorable then super badass. Hayley became a main character and not just a side character. But thank you for this journey❤

Nothing beats TVD to me. Favorite show ever. TO was a good show too. I still hope you watch Legacies. Lots of guest spots from TVD and TO.

I agree its hard to pick between TVD and TO, the issue is I think TO had a higher ceiling / potential, because the best season of TO was better than the best season of TVD but it fell short because it didn't get the same ratings which meant it didn't get as many seasons and full seasons, they did a good job working with what they had but it is upsetting knowing it could've been so much better. It was a close race but one of the shows was kneecapped and at an unfair disadvantage yet to many it still won and to those that didn't think it did, it still did very well. If TO had the same support as TVD, full seasons and everything I really think it would've been better instead of a close call, it really only had 4 seasons since 4 & 5 were half of one. I watched first and last episode of this show yesterday and just realised how awesome it ended, the death of two brothers who fought side by side and one without the other has no purpose so rather dies than live without his brother, so poetic and wholesome. Loved the originals more, because I liked the bars and the relationships more, and prefer this more than teen drama in general although tvd is more than that

It’s really took me some time to get into the originals especially the characters outside of the Mikaelson. I feel like in season one, I didn’t appreciate Marcel, and Davina as much as I should because we, didn’t know them. And, I was just focusing on being team Klaus, team the Mikaelsons. I feel like the show dropped the ball with continuity, and nostalgia when it came to dropping little easter egg. One of the biggest deal in season one, was Marcel, and Rebekah betrayal by contacting Mikael in 1919. But, Marcel came into the Mikaelson lives in 1821, he literally grew up in the compound with them. Are we supposed to believe that Mikael was not able to find them in ninety eight years by himself??? They also never mention Katherine, expected for one throw away line in season five. You would have thought that we would had gotten one flashback of Klaus searching for Katherine with Marcel. It was always said that Marcel was Klaus sidekick, and that Klaus chase Katherine for five hundreds years. But, the originals make it seems like that Klaus was just chilling. Not thinking about Katherine or Mikael. Also, when we was first introduced to Klaus, it was said by Elijah that Klaus loves his witches. And, we saw a little bit of that in season two of tvd but after that it’s just disappear. I wish they would had kept that apart of Klaus story. Speaking of Bonnie, Joseph and Kat both wanted there characters to be pair romantically together. Kat actually caught Joseph watching klonnie video one time.

My 5 fave scenes: 3x21 Elijah telling Hayley he killed Marcel 5x08 Elijah getting his memories back 1x22 Elijah and Klaus talking about Hayley on the graveyard 1x06 Elijah killing Agnes in the church 3x22 Klaus and Elijah talking before Klaus is going to Marcel My most heartbreaking scene is definitely Klaus and Elijah's death too. For me the funniest scene 🤔🤔🤔 is maybe I think Klaus' reaction when they want to take that photo that they "burned" Fave kiss 🤔: 3x21 Hayley & Elijah 2x08 Josh & Aiden Fave kill (same): 1x06 Elijah killing Agnes in the church Fave quote: 3x11 Haley: "loving any of us is a death sentence, isn't it?" Fave character: Elijah Klaus Vincent My season ranking: S2 S3 S1 S4 S5 Finale ranking: S4 S5 S1 S3 S2 (But those are all super close) I personally prefer TVD, because I have a bigger emotional attachement to it. TO>TVD Only because I like the family theme throughout originals and in tvd it was just romantic relationships practically every season but if I could transfer characters into originals I would with every character except Elena she annoyed me

My favourite is always Klaus! In TVD it's Stefan but as a whole it's Klaus! I like both TVD and TO but TO is my favourite in the end, just because it was more about family and not the constant love triangle drama around Elena. TVD is very nostalgic for me tho! TVD was also just good from season 1 to season 3 and then it went downhill for me personally.

Klaus was the first that Davina removed the sire line in season 3 due to the Strix; so no one of his died. Elijah's sire line all died in s4 after The Hallow kills him. So, the only Original that still has their sire line is Rebekah. Now, whether she takes the cure & that effects her sire line... i'd like to know, because they never truly answered that; which Tyler (*gag*) mentioned in s4 of TVD.

I've really really enjoyed watching your reactions. You're so funny and, since I had a rough year, it's nice to have reasons to smile. I don't think we'll ever agree on Matt or Cami but I adore your videos nonetheless. For the record, I absolutely LOVE Legacies (even if it's completely ridiculous sometimes) so I do hope you eventually check back into the Vampire Diaries universe via Legacies and react to that too.

I do hope that you eventually watch Legacies, the first 3 seasons are a bit silly but season 4 is more TVDU-like (apparently, cuz I haven't got a chance to watch the last 1.5 seasons). Hope is so much better in it imo and the other characters are cool too, like the saltzman twins

I think you downplayed season 2 is was one of my favorites especially Klaus realizing that ester purposely made him weak & his showdown with Mikael & Elijah knowing about his red door & of course Dahlia & Klaus’s birth father season 2 was the best to me. Nope they broke Klaus’s line & not Elijah! Remember when the hollow killed Elijah Rebekah & Kol saw vampires die & knew Elijah was dead. The only 2 original lines that were safe was Klaus & Rebekah. I do wonder if Marcel turns someone will they be like him or a regular vampire

And there’s a few other edits aswell like Elijah Mikaelson: A man of honour. Kol Mikaelson: the Wildest. Hayley Marshall: the queen, I think that’s what that one is called. You’ve watched them before but I think rewatching them with what u know now about the show would be great.

i think you should watch Legacies eventually, it’s not quite the same and it can be a bit of a drag but it’s starting to become good again. But i think waiting till after you’ve seen The 100 and Teen Wolf is a good idea.

The only sireline to remain is Rebekah's and Klaus's. Finn's sireline died when he originally died back on TVD S3, as did Kol's in TVD S4. Klaus's was severed in TO season 3 so they'll survive even though he died. Elijah's sireline died when the Hollow killed him in season 4. Also, it should be noted that Klaus revealed created four new (unnamed/off-screen) hybrids from Hope's blood in TO S5. Hope used the hybrids (who had the sired bond) to bring her family back to NOLA so that she could take the Hollow from them, but it was never confirmed what happened to the hybrids afterward. Though, technically speaking, vampires and Hybrids made by Hope's blood when she was an untriggered tribrid count as being unsired to a bloodline (though they can still have a sire bond...except Hayley because she birthed Hope).

Don't watch legacies. It feels very childish compared to TVD and TO.

TVD was a looooot better than TO, even if the last 3 seasons of TVD were all a hot mess. Even if I loved the story of Klaus and Cami because their slow burn romance was well written, and there were moments of good writing when Klaus was infiltrating Marcel's gang or when protecting his family... it still didn't hold a candle to the first 3 seasons of TVD. But TVD was only really good because of Kevin Williamson 😕 when he left it fell down like a house of cards. The last season of TO was so weak, but they didn't know they'd have a last season and I watched an interview with Gillies saying they were basically abandoned because of Legacies. And don't get me started on the Hope-story in general. They RUINED Klaus by making him sleep with Hayley. If they'd kept him in-character on 4x16 of TVD, he would have killed her the moment he realised she didn't know where Katherine or the cure was. Because it would have sent a message. And TO would have been great without Hope and Hayley. The Mikaelsons NOT knowing about Marcel living and thriving in Nola goes so beyond the grain of who TVD built up Klaus to be during his entire existence on that show. He was the all-knowing original, how did he not know about the vampire coven in Nola living basically in the open? It's beyond me. They would have ended up in Nola without Hayley. And even if they felt the need to add Hayley as some sort of love interest to Elijah, they could have done so without the existing story line. She could have been a wolf in distress looking for info on her parents in Nola and Elijah could have come to her rescue like he always does.. they could have kept Klaus out of it. Anyway, you made watching TO bearable, Jer, and I will be forever grateful. You saw the importance of Cami. And you loved Vincent. And you saw Sofya. And now Klaus is happy with Cami wherever they are. It's all that matters. 🥰 PS. Don't watch Legacies, unless you want to ruin your TVD/TO experience. It is ..... I am lost for words, it's such a crappy show. 😪 The Mikaelson legacy ruined forever. I'm glad to know JoMo is done and won't be visiting that show to ruin Klaus even further.
