Your primise of Oswald not being tracked 41 days before the assisination lies in the fact that a file or "lookout card" was missing within the US Passport Office's files. If there was a "lookout card" each time he applied for a passport or traveled to any country there would have been a "red flag", for some reason if there ever was one it had been lost or removed. Automation was practially non-existant at the US Passport Office where I worked between the years of 1972-1975. Department of State security was being questioned under the leadership of Otto Otepka. On November 5, 1963, Otto Otepka was finally formally ousted from the State Department. Just seventeen days later, Kennedy would be assassinated. And the killing would be pinned on the man Otepka was trying to investigate, Lee Harvey Oswald, when he was removed from his office. A informative book on this subject "The Ordeal of Otto Otepka by William J. Gill; Deceit between OSS & DS"

@smokeymtnman That's all speculative, "smokey" BS. To the extent Oswald was on any any governmental radar, it was that during the height of the Cold War, this self-proclaimed Marxist did the the oddball thing of defecting to the Soviet Union. This brought him some extra attention from both the U.S. and Soviet side; rendering him a sort of suspicious character, but certainly not a would-be presidential assassin.

they couldn't locate LHO, yet the damn Ft Worth Press allegedly did a piece on him on 11/16/'63 but the FBI, no, they couldn't locate him and didn't want to bother him at work which was miraculously along the proscribed route. That sounds like its own fairy tail, a bit part of, an even large one.

this podcast is inaccurate. Oswald saw himself as an American Hero when he returned home. The fan fair wasn't there because the guy was still undercover. I'm convinced insiders thought he shared the info for the u2 leading to the U2 discovery and being shot down. or whatever really happened to the U2 plane. the only part i agree with is the relentless force put on Kennedy to do a first strike on the Soviet Union. Dallas is filled with White Russian. Desperate to get their land back, desperate to return to Poland, Minsk, and Ukraine (as in Zapruder and other Jewish Mobster like meyer lansky or whatever his real russian born name is. Any quote from his journal or his wife can be counted as lies.....as the warren report is also.

@@michaelknight247 Oswald saw himself as an American hero? To the extent that may be true, it was due to his own self-delusions. Oswald's Marine unit was NOT involved with the U2 and its operations. There is also not a speck of credible evidence Oswald was connected to any government or any intelligence agency. You just need that to be true, to resuscitate the fantasy conspiracy narrative. But the trick does not work.

Problem with them trying to go back to the USSR is no way Marina wanted to go back… the Russian Emigrants in Dallas were spoiling her with clothes and gifts which she loved. Also the pictures of “Oswald” in Mexico City ain’t him

Excellent podcast. I'm glad you've included numerous comments from JFK expert, Jefferson Morley. See his excellent Substack JFK Facts!

The carcano was never found in the texas school book deposatory. It was introduced at the police station.

Oswald ranked sharpshooter when he joined which is mid grade. He ranked marksman when he retested around the time he left the Marines, which is lowest rank. Expert is top rank.

I’m glad Daisy did this, I like her and I feel bad she got to be part of Star Wars but Disney destroyed it with crappy writing…. She’s kinda cute too 😉

Lee shouldn’t have married a peasant, he deserved better than that. Despite how he’s been portrayed he actually had a genuine good heart and standards…. if he did flip out and shoot JFK all by himself (I don’t believe that) she drove him over the edge…

Is that David Morales's son sharing his father's tales about what a poor shot LHO was?!

While I agree with Morley about many things, I do not agree with him about Mexico City. I agree with JFK researcher, authors, Jim DiEugenio & John Newman that Oswald wasn't even in Mexico City. There are no photos or tapes of Oswald there, both were of imposters, who neither looked or sounded like Lee Harvey Oswald.

The 20 photos of the "Oswald" at the Russian and Cuban Embassies were all of the wrong person. (according to Hoover) Even the voice recording. But get this: The fake Oswald applied for a Visa using Oswald's I.D. Think about that. The Fake Oswald applied for a Visa to go to Russia using Oswald's I.D. Why? That should have been the starting point of the Investigation.

J Edgar Hoover himself knew that Lee Harvey Oswald was not the man in Mexico; in September 1963

But Oswald - was - in Mexico City on another so-called mission. Just part of the plan that the CIA can construct a cover story of their own choosing that would benefit them - elementary spy craft.

@animula6908 He may be a Warren Commission supporter who can not handle any evidence contrary to the report's conclusion. He obviously is upset that an actress known for her work in science fiction or is it considered fantasy (Star Wars) would deal in reality or nonfiction.

Why do you say that? Lee Harvey Oswald was a double agent. He fits right into Daisy's podcasts.
