I love these debates below, if you are arguing if Rise Against is punk or not, you already don't understand punk rock lol. Its about doing your own thing, so putting requirements on it is backwards.
i love it. tim's daughter is so infatuated with the internet (like any young girl would be), but tim is subtly trying to shy her away from that bullshit. tim mcllrath is a g.
+FroztiProductions It's superior when it comes to music and video production, and is a standard for most producers. I prefer PC for various reasons, but Macs have their benefits.
It's marketing, brother. I am a producer. I use cubase and fl studio on a pc and they run exactly the same as the macs I used at school or in friends studios. A guy did a test, with his 2000 dollar pc against the 3000 dollar mac. They rendered video at about the same speed.
+FroztiProductions Macs suck at a lot of things, A LOT of things, however, they are great for music and graphic design, that's where they actually manage to be good for reasons other than marketing. Almost all of the proper studios use macs for this reason. It's not much of an issue to run a couple of instruments or maybe do simple stuff on a PC, and you can indeed do quite a bit with a well-built one. However, when it comes to running several things at once and recording loads and loads of tracks on Pro Tools, the Mac is better. Also, Logic Pro costs hardly anything, mostly because of Apple wanting to use it as a way of selling the Mac to one of its main audiences, and it works brilliantly. Also, just out of curiosity, are you a producer as in someone who produces music for other bands? Or as in a person who makes beats? Because, I've heard thos two being used interchangeably quite a bit.
