I am a 62 yr. Old. Mom and grandma, l have seen so many great guitarist. In my life. But. I gotta say,no one has ever touched my heart . The way he does . Thank You Buckethead, for all that you give
I can relate to everything you stated here, T.C. I just recently have discovered this awesome man and very talented Musician....and I'm glad I did. So many comments have been so very positive concerning him. He truly is loved and admired by so many.
I'm in my thirties, and I must say. You're generation made mine for better kr worse. Without Jimi no one would think "hey if he can do that, what if I did this?"
I am. A 62 year. Old. Grandma. As well. I too have seen so many great guitarist. In MY life. I too. gotta say,no one has ever touched my heart . The way he does .
The best calmest comment section on the entire internet is the comment section of Buckethead's videos. Which tells you a lot about how this gem inspires people positively. Enjoy the honor of living in the era when Buckethead is alive, ladies and gents.
Best comment I've read in a looooong time....and very true! We enter into the buckethead land as human....we leave in a higher plane of existence and are a better people for having buckethead in our generation
When I need peace, quiet and a cut off from the world, I come here to listen to Buckethead. Even in the comments there is peace, and respect. It's Buckethead's magic: it makes us go back to being...human beings.
Buckethead is the man, i listen to it at work and get asked about it all the time, people love it and then i say "Buckethead" and the response is always OH lol
I'm glad there are hundreds of thousands of views for his songs on here now. Years ago I was always shocked at his lack of exposure, how few people knew of him or listened to his music while genuinely terrible and toxic music would have hundreds of millions of views.
Aristotle also said ants are singular creatures like swans and unlike bees who had a queen and a hive. Appeals to blind authority are meaningless logical fallacies
@@agnidas5816 hmm interesting take. I believe Aristotle was a philosopher though not a biologist and thus I'm not sure if his stance on ants' hierarchies quite discredits the OPs quote in anyway? Plus I wouldn't say typing a quote you agree with is subscribing to some blind authority. That being said I do think I agree with the sentiment that we should question everything and not submit to blind authorities and in conclusion, Buckethead is the king
This song gives me a melancholy feeling of when I used to lay in the middle of a huge field on a summers evening with my dog Sam in rural northern canada...the sky would just envelop you and you knew that this peaceful moment was precious and could never be repeated again.
As a wood worker, I just love listening to Buckethead do his thing while I do mine. Very important to keep a calm, focused mind, especially when operating a tablesaw.
I am about to turn 60 years old and I am literally addicted to Buckethead. I can listen to him for hours & hours and never tire out. Long live buckethead
My second cousins family were all carpenters and woodworkers. It was something I dabbled in but never really took seriously as a career. It's just nice to make a nice table for my mother and have it for my grand nieces and nephews.
This man's up there with the greatest composers of all time. There's absolutely no need for lyrics in any of his compositions. His guitar does all the speaking necessary. I've said it before, but there's no one else I can think of that transmits so much emotion through his instrument. A one of a kind, bonafide musical genius. I'm so glad to be living in the same time period as he. We're truly blessed, folks! Long Live Buckethead!!!
some people comment how great his guitar skills are, there exceptional, yes, its his composition abilities that blows me away!!! a true artist!! a hardly known legend in his own time. merry Christmas
There aint much great about this futuristic modern world except for the fact we get to be alive at the same time Buckethead is creating music that will live on forever.
I don’t know why I do this to myself- I knew of buckethead for YEARS , heard his name around the block many times , but never allowed myself to really get into his music. I Thought it was overrated and boring , until I started playing guitar. Now I see it.. I see how organic , inspiring , and TALENTED this musician is. Now in 2021, I am just getting into his music. Better late than never...
A lot of people write him off because they don't know the extent of his discography or think he just plays robot sounding music. Buckethead literally has tracks for everyone
Growing up I looked endlessly for music like this, even when I was in elementary school. I'm 46 now and I'm in heaven. Here it is. The kind of music my soul has searched for for a very long time. ❤❤❤❤❤🤩❤🤩🤩❤❤🤩❤❤
I own an electric motorcycle, the Harley-Davidson LiveWire, and around 14 minutes it sounds like he is playing about it through his guitar strings. Nobody without that bike would of heard that... Cosmic Coincidences, are the universe's language. Lord BucketHead must be a profit, god clearly works through him. ^,^
Even my cat loves Buckethead! There have been many summer nights where I'll just be kicking back, smoking herbal cigarettes, chilling, listening to Buckethead and my cat will come strolling in from outside and chill with me, then, once the music switches to something else, back outside she goes. Just sayin'. ;)
@@ianmatthewkline8279 I think he means that the majority of people are not really into 17 minute long instrumentals, and yeah, wearing a bucket in your head as well
@@liquid2114 I don't know that I would exactly call not liking 17 minute songs a stigma hahah but I think you're right in what he meant. Personally, when I see a long tim eon a song I'm like, "alright, if this is good then I've got 17 minutes of happy sounds coming my way" but I can totally see why some people don't like long songs. I used to do this thing when I would go to the bar with my friends where I would pay for three songs on the jukebox so they would play back to back,. Which three? The 3- 15minute-ish songs off of Pink Floyd's Animals album. Usually by like 20 minutes in people would start losing their shit because it all sounds like the same song lmao
@@spiriteNsh1 Aunt Suzie (also Soothsayer and Sail On Soothsayer) is for his Aunt Suzie, but I hear Eddie was an inspiration for Buck so I don't know man. Rip Master Eddie and long life to Master Buckethead 🤟🏻🌹
Buckethead is an anomaly in space time. We will never get such a gifted gem among us again. We can all be thankful to exist here and now to experience this together.
I just discovered Buckethead's music after hearing about him for a year or so. He's instantly shot to my top new favorite artist and favorite guitarist overall. I love you so much Buckethead. I really do.
I went to a buckethead show in philly once. The diversity of the crowd was my fovorite song. Old and young. All different ethnicities, men women and everything inbetween, gay straight and everything else. All for one man. Buckethead
As I sit and listen to the musical artwork that Buckethead creates for us.....I can feel the stress of the day leaving every pore from my skin..... It's like a cleansing of the soul experience if you allow yourself to be immersed in his music..... Absolutely love the guy..... Genius musician
Not to be that guy but the Bucket existed before the God they just have a mutual agreement to let God be the figurehead. Heaven is just Valhalla with Buckethead music 😂
Eric Weinstein mentioned him on a live chat the other day. I smiled and knew it was one of the reasons I listen to Eric. I’d never heard anyone else ever say his name. Dawn at the Deuce is what made me a fan several years ago. I didn’t realize he had such a large catalogue. Brilliant musician.
Jesus Hong So sorry, I never got a notification for this until just now when someone else hit like. It was an Instagram live post. I’d have trouble finding it, if it’s even still available. Thank you for the link. It’s nice to see your appreciation of such a unique artist. I agree, words don’t do him justice because our type of language has limitations.
Jesus Hong Bless you too, my friend. Thanks for sharing that. Passion is what it’s all about, right? These things are life giving. I’m so grateful for musicians and music in general and I agree that it finds us and we sometimes wonder if we’ve been living under a rock. There’s just so much out there to consume in general. I have an acoustic guitar but I’m not very good with it. Funny you spoke about music theory. I just said the other night to myself that I just want to play songs, not learn music theory. I try. But it’s like Greek to me. My brother is self taught and can’t read music but he was always decently creative. If you haven’t checked out Rick Beato’s channel, he has a series called ‘What makes this song great?’ and does some amazing breakdowns. You would enjoy it, I think. Nice to connect and best of everything to you. I’m smiling picturing you with your future fam. 🌻
Death Cube K aka Buckethead at his fluidest here! This thing, whatever it is, just flows & you flow with it; it's hypnotic and his control over the textures is astonishing. There is an emotional connect here for me that is hard to describe, just beautiful. We are in his 'presence' and that's all that matters.
Thank you!!! Buckethead for your seamless passion and ability to share it with us. As I sit in the yard with my grandson, both of us swaying to the bliss coming from my tablet. Even the dogs are spellbound.......
Funny, was having a brake job done , and the mechanic afterwards mentioned he had Colma playing in my car stereo and a young mechanic walked up and says, what the heck are you listening to?The old guy says , Son, that’s real music.!
I must have been living under a rock. I thought I was well rounded musically but I just discovered Buckethead this evening and I can't stop listening to him. Is this an ancient god of music who taught Clapton, Beck, Malmsteen, Satriani, Schenker and all the rest everything they know?
I'm hearing ya James - I've been listening to him for a few years now and think the same, his talent is insane! I love all those you mentioned but doubt if they have anywhere near the same level of talent..........
There are a few humans that reincarnate ancient gods, not gods of music, art is the medium, the message is love, freedom and truth. From ever dimension of the multiverse channeled to our dimension.
Steve Steve Joe Satriani has a very broad range and a noble heart. We often discount the importance of a musician's heart and soul. Carlos Santana, Joe, Buckethead, are some in a long list of deep and thoughtful persons communicating to our souls via this magical medium known as music.
hotdoginmylung: your profile says you joined RU-vid in Jul 2015. So, unless you are signing in with someone else's account, you were 7 years of age when you signed up for a RU-vid account, i.e., when you were in 2nd grade. Right.
When you play guitar solely for the sake of just playing and hitting the right notes.i believe its not sincere. Here bh is not just playing for the sake of playing.he is feeling the moment or simply in the flow state.
Very true. For instrumentalists, creating such music requires not just a good understanding of the theory, but the imagination to place yourself in certain scenarios and the music to automatically come out from within. Its a special gift only few possess.
I don't want to name names, but there is a lot of sweep picking and jazz guitar, it's just whatever, there is no feeling behind it. In this song it's like a stream of consciousness and he's not trying to hide anything or pretend he's something different.
Pike 65 is the single greatest piece of music ive ever heard. I want the whole world to hear it. Lyrics have no substance anymore after hearing buckethead
I think if you actually asked top guitarists who know their stuff and listen to a lot of guitar music, most of them would rank BH at the top of composers for guitar.
BucketHead is Greatest Guitarist ever Lived, the creative talent, the versatility, the passion, combined makes one thank God We have heard of Legend. Hope Buckethead knows he is Love and admire.
Listening to this today after not hearing it for a long time. It’s brought forth the needed release of healing tears for the loss of a dear, long time friend to addiction and mental illness 😢💕
ὅτι ἐξ αὐτοῦ καὶ δι’ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰς αὐτὸν τὰ πάντα· αὐτῷ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας. ἀμήν. Rom 11:36 Exactly this I was reminded when listening to that song. All comes from God. All happens through God. All leads to God. That includes of course Buckethead and darkness - all is somehow connected to God. That makes me very happy. Greetings from Germany!
I put on Buckethead while i am cooking, like today on Thanksgiving, the meals always come out 10 times better, on time and perfectly coordinate? I guess when i get in the groove, things just go better! and as a Vet, i give thanks to our troops that can't spend this day w/ family, come home safe to your family's
My mothers health was declining so she moved in with me. Id always play Buckethead's more chill emotional stuff while cooking for me and her. She passed away right before chistmas of 2022. Never thought something as simple as cooking a few nights a week would be some of my most cherished recent memories.
Why my life is so messed up , I don't have a reason to live anymore , but listen to buckethead his music it's feel like tell to myself I have to keep alive .May god bless buckethead
We are here to have a relationship with God if you can believe that. John 3:3-6. You must be born of God's Spirit. Believe me.... just ask God to show you what that is if have enough faith to and I garrentee He will change your life. You can know the truth, who is Jesus and He will set you free from the wages of sin. His death is the death of sin and resurrection is a new life of knowing Him personally. It's awesome. It can get tough, life can be tough. But when know in your heart that God is with you for real...... that is the difference between life and death. Jesus is the King of all Kings my friends. Don't let the devil decieve you into never looking into Jesus because one day you are going to meet Him face to face. And on that day you want to already know Him and not just be meeting Him. There's a big difference.
Such an awesome track and my favorite so far but that could change at any moment because I haven't had a chance to listen to all of Buckethead's music yet. Him Likes!!!
Listening to this now thinking about Kobe and the others R.I.P. Mamba Mentality Forever 🐍♾️ See you on "The Other Side of the Dark", you are now eternally with Light☀️
Buckethead is got to be one of a different breed of man I hear his feeling threw the vibrations of strings threw the the pickups and my heart travels along side every crazy vibration of those thin strings and suddenly I see the reason this guy is something great.hey bucket head / Brother theirs a reason you are and I too one can only continue to listen to the way you make something no other has and maybe one day I will find the purpose I have.. I have to say thank you brother more so than I can say ………..
