What you call "tray lighting", I've always called "halo lighting" in reference to AMF bowling masking units from the 60's & 70's. I've recently found out the actual name for this type of lighting is simply "uplight fixture".
A brand new cancer center has taken over part of the north section of the BJC complex. But I am glad this one hasn't been hit. I am headed over to these elevators via Call-a-Ride.
I think they were installed in either the 1960s or '70s judging by the indicator and the circular style of touch buttons (which look exactly like newer lexan).
Oooooh, I remember these! John Lewis (Previously Jessops), used to have these on their lifts at their store in Victoria Centre, Nottingham, until they updated the centre. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessop_%26_Son
Say Andrew?!?!... Is this the same exact hospital that you got kicked-out of year ago when you were recording the elevators with Jacob from "The Elevator Channel"?
