BTW, it's not just Texas. I live in L.A. and 95% of the time ppl just seem completely oblivious to my look. I'm usually like, what? Do you ppl need glasses?? And then a couple nights ago, I was at an event, several ppl made nice comments and one girl asked me what size I was and wanted to buy my outfit on the spot!! She was serious!! So keep it up, Monica, the ppl who are worth your time will eventually notice!💕

same last night I barely slept because the pain was so bad it kept waking me up 😩

I used to get extraordinarily painful cramps in my teens and 20s. I didn’t realize there is a medical reason for really bad cramps so I suffered in silence with it years and depended on this hack I found which was using Tylenol pm’s to put me to sleep for the first two days of my period. Basically I’d take two pills every 6 hours and keep myself in an induced coma and miss out on life, exams, dates, appts, everything! Once I tried to ignore the cramps and leave the house. I blacked out because the pain and the hot flashes were too intense. Anyway, there is a medical reason for intense cramps so definitely go see a dr and get something. I needed birthcontrol. I was so against BC but when I realized that was the only thing, I gave in and it worked! Then after about 4 years or so, could be a little less or a little more, my health insurance wasn’t good at all so I ended up not being able to refill them. i was so scared that the pain would come back with a vengeance but it never did :) So I’ve lived much of my late 20’s into my late 30s (where I am now) without those INSANE cramps ever again :) THE END ❤

Oo, yes. I suffered from *severe* cramps during my teens and into my mid 20s. They would literally cripple me. No one in my family had it as bad so no one around me understood that cramps could get that severe and pretty much thought I was low-key faking some part of it. But I assure you, severe cramp pain is medical. Please go see a dr. ASAP. I wish someone had told me this when I was young because I pretty much suffered in silence until I was 20. And by the time I was 16 and had to run away from home after my life was threatened, I ended up finding a hack to solve the pain. I would get on Tylenol pm’s for the first 2 days of my period. I’d take it every 6 hours and put myself in an induced coma. I’d miss out on exams, work, dates, everything! For years! For 2 days out of the month. I got lucky on some months when the first 2 days would land on a weekend or on days where nothing was going on. And then when I finally went to a dr to see if they had a really strong painkiller so that I didn’t have to induce a coma, they told me I had *second degree dysmenorrhea* and put me on birth control. I was ABSOLUTELY against birth ctrl because of all the side effects I would hear ppl complain about but I really didn’t have a choice at this point. I was so afraid of the pain. After about 4 years of being on it, my health insurance was so unstable and really bad that I lost it for a period of time and couldn’t renew my BC. So i braced myself for the impact but those really awful cramps never came back 😊 And so, I lived my late 20s until my late 30s (where I am now) without ever experiencing those pains again. And ofc, I don’t have much of the irritability anymore. But that has more to do with the circumstances I think because my husband is the best and I love my life and living situation which is probably why I don’t get irritable any more. Even if I experience a tiny bit of discomfort on the first day. So yea, go see a dr. It’s possible not to live with those awful first couple of days.

ngl its been a while since I last practiced bc I got my nails done and havent been able to play heheh😅 but Ive been enjoying learning my fav songs and thats been the funnest part because I feel like I can connect with the songs on a different level. My advice would be to play with a metronome always!! it helps a lot with timing and keeping the rhythm consistent. I remember you commented a long time ago about wanting to play bass so Im excited ur finally getting one, lmk how it goes!!

Oooof course I totally get that feeling too!!! I tend to overthink things a lot but something that helps take me out of my own head is realizing that in reality nobody really pays attention to me, in the sense that everyone is just naturally concerned about their own well being and for lack of better words nobody cares about what I look like or how I act or what im wearing. I could be the most awkward person (and trust me I am irl) and that person would maybe think "o shes kinda weird" for like one second and then move on w there day. I think sometimes we just get so wrapped up in our head but it's funny bc literally everyone else is doing the same!! Whenever I go out in a cute outfit I immediately just try to assume that people are thinking positive things about me instead of just assuming negative and that helps a lot with my confidence 🤗 but trust me it's all about the mindset!! Fake it till u make it!! 💖
