Bgm blood bath and one song is just toooo good....!!!! Vetrimaran is a genius....!!! Anurag kashyap type of film making no glamour only content....!!!! Hence proved that for content and productive cinema you don't need glamorous sets, heroine or costumes even with a 200 rs lungi and kurta you can make super films.... And no matter how many crores you spend artificial sets its never ever than natural villages, garden or mountains....!!!

And finally Dhanush won the national award for Asuran 😍

Dhanush gave one of the best performance ever in South Film industry. Never seen a believable character like this. The old Dhanush looks, acts and talks like a 55 yr old guy and the young one like in his 20s. I have just become a fan of Dhanush and want to watch his all other movies.

I'm a Marathi ... And I watched this movie with subtitles and I literally got chills... Now I only watch the Hollywood and regional films ❤️❤️

I watched Asuran yesterday. Dhanush, the way he walked also was art. Every actor was oozing out with sheer perfection.

'Kaithi' must be there on your bucket list.It's a next level thriller.

Tamil heroes are ready to throw their chocolate-boy kind of image, handsome hero etc for an in-depth movie which can connect with the audience to the bottom of their heart. Dhanush often changes his looks for the movies. Actor Karthi's looks are like the typical village get-up in KAITHI action thriller Tamil movie. Its a very interesting movie.

Im from Pakistan and I love south indian movies way more than Bollywood mediocre garbage. Way to go guys! ♥️

I can't imagine any bollywood actor who can actually give justice to this role of Dhanush.

RIP to those paid money to watch Housefull 4 and SOTY than Asuran or Kaithi.

I saw this movie yesterday .. Dhanush is really an actor who can pull any type of character so easily and efficiently.... What I thought the catch of this movie is... every character played their role so naturally that it doesn't look like they are "acting " it looks like they are living that life from so many years.. Hatts off to Director and cinematographer

This movie has best interval too. I was shocked during interval bang. brilliant acting and direction. Vetrimaran and Dhanush combo never fails.

South Indian Movies are Way Ahead than Bollywood

Honestly Vetrimaran has no budget limitations . Dhanush helped him with the finances and partly his own money was used for his Oscar campaigning of Visaaranai . Vadachennai was made with good budget only with proper set peices. It is the raw and realistic style of Vetrimaran film making that he has such settings and clothing. He spent 5 monts in madurai researching for his second film Aadukalam .

Just finished watching it. . . What a Pure Masterpiece. . . . Thank god South Indian industry finally listened to the audience and improved dubbing quality so we don't need to watch Bollywood remakes !!!

I watched this movie a few days ago. It's such a treat to watch. I didn't watch the trailer, so i didn't have much expectations. I was completely blown away by the performances of all the actors. When Shiva's son died, I felt the pain of the family. It was like someone of my own closed ones died in a painful way. It's heart wrenching. I can't even imagine what people of lower cast in many villages go through in their day to day life.

6 year back i started watching south movies from than never look back at Bollywood garbage.. Please sir share your explanation to marathi movies they are also a hidden gem in Indian cinema with their cast and storyline.

This movie was a haunting experience and made me question my morality and principles of non-violence. Its an Indian western in its truest form, very much like Logan and it's inspiration Shane as it covers the themes like cycle of violence, oppression by the powerful, self-honor above human life

This type of movie needs to get a pan India release. This is Cinema I will spend any amount of money to watch this type of piece of Cinema.

Vetrimaran + dhanush Masterpiece

This movie is definitely a masterpiece and very relevant one too. This movie is not a Revenge Thriller but a Survival Thriller where the protagonist is only focused on survival of his family and the extent he will for that. The thing I find most interesting is the arc of the characters through the movie which is seen even in the fight scenes(Like he just kills in the past, but in the present he is careful not to kill only when its absolutely necessary). It shows some discriminating practices that still exist in the society like the right to wear a chappal.

Bollywood is crap, tatti films, regional films are in a different league, Asuran is Oscar worthy,BGM,story,acting,violence everything is just pure art,top notch

Jammy... I have been using youtube since past 8 years. This is my first ever comment on any of the video and I think it deservedly belongs to you and Asuran. I have one Tamil friend who suggests me good movies and I watch all of them before your video comes out. So instead of watching a movie after your video, I already have watched it at the time your video comes out and it makes me relate so much to the movie. Ratsasan, Jalikattu and Asuran are the best movies ever created in India. I was spellbound by the performance from Dhanush. I am his fan from Raanjhna days and I believe he should win the national award for this potrayal. PS: Thank you for suggesting all the gems and please please keep doing the same.

Vetrimaran is just epic in displaying his stories. This movie is adapted from a book, he told in an interview that people who read that book wouldn't like the movie as it has eliminated some main characters for the ease of display. Though the author of the book is very satisfied with the outcome. The next vetrimaran movie would be an adaptation of poem which itself would be challenge and to top that he is casting a comedian name suri as the protagonist, if he pulls this of I think he should be considered as one the top director of this generation. In one of his interview he says if logic and link is missing I cannot concentrate on the next scene as filmmaking is science. Most of his movies shows the incident first and the character doing something for 2 minutes or so, this entice the audience and they get hooked to the characters from the start. I think he is more inspired by Alfred Hitchcock.

Somewhere between asuran and kaithi people forgot about another masterpiece of Tamil cinema this year MAGAMUNI

Dhanush is just awsm...no words are left to praise him. The director has impressed with his dedication he told a scene in which dhanush have to lay down in ground and say sorry to village peaples. The temperature is 40degree.. the director asks dhanush that he can use blanket and they will cgi it but dhanush said no i will do it there is no problem ......uff man the dedication level 💯
