I absolutely love your PCT series! Everything from your personality, the edits, the music, and trail names. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us
Love your edit, music selection and of course, your story!!!! Can't wait to thru-hike the AT in 2025, after I retire from the Fire Department.......can't come soon enough!!!
Absolutely love how you have structured your story, it is so easy to follow and I have to admit to binge-watching your chapters. It has really inspired me. Thank you
This really is next level stuff. Including others on your journey was a masterstroke. Their stories, their hopes and dreams as well as your own gives real impetus to the overall narrative. Love watching where it will go next.....watch this space!! Thank you 😍👍🙏
Loved "Goat Disco's" trail name story. I'm still seeing the cutest assed goats jumping up and down on the hood of his car. It's what makes goats, especially kids, so damned adorable.
By a million miles, the most interesting, well-processed, not self-centered, high-quality pct series video I have seen yet (and I've been slightly binging them in French and in English...). Please continue the videos and prepare yourself to go on other trails.. We'll need to see more! P.S: The 'how I got my trail name' is a cool way to introduce us to the people you met on the way... Thank you Elina!
@@ElinaOsborne I'm not sure whether you've thought of your next destination but have you heard of the Via Alpina (that crosses all 8 Alpine countries...)?
Your PCT series is literally my favorite thing on youtube atm! It's such an inspiring journey and the humor in your editing gives me life lolol I can't wait for chapter 3!
Your way of story telling is mesmerizing! I can relate to so many things here that I saw for the first time in my '18 hike. The multiple steps in the Laundromats was one - transforming a bill to coins, then to detergent and finally activating the washing machine felt so alien yet fun. That's probably how someone who get out of jail after 30 years feels like.
Enjoying watching your journey so much! I’m telling you your story telling ability is next level. You have to have a background in videography. Love it! I run a backpacking series called Hikers Network. Been doing this for over a year now. I’d love to get in touch and feature you on the channel. Absolutely awesome content! You are killing it 🙌😃👍
Okay, I can see it now. A good ole KY boy interviews a Kiwi and neither can understand a word the other says. JSH, you put this together and I'll be there! Am subbed to both channels.
Just about everytime we hit town and resupplied we bought too much food. Great memories with the best people. The fellowship on the trail is Devine. I never appreciated people so much. Thanks for sharing your experience.
watching your videos bring back so many memories.in idylwild we rented a log cabin and at night i experienced my first earthquake.in big bear we could stay in the yard of the fire department.i always liked the first weeks of my thruhikes the most. greetings from germany psyco heiko PCT 99
Discovered your channel last night, with the Its the People video. Immediately subbed, and now binge watching the series. I love it. I don't know if I will ever be able to take the time out to hike the entire trail, but having already visited the Sierras, I would love to visit Oregon and hike a part. Utterly beautiful. You are a good egg. Thank you for putting this out for the world ♡
I love diners too! Can’t remember the last time I have been to one - years & years - oh a goal! Love your filming, editing and style - very, very well done.
First of all, I am loving these videos of yours 💛 I thru hiked 2017, I'm from WA state (so I was just walking home lol) And it is making me so so nostalgic watching these 😭 I skipped the sierras when I was thru hiking, due to fear mongering and timidness, but I'm planning on doing the entire thing all over again in the next like 2 years. SUCH an incredible experience. Thank you so so much for sharing. I am also very curious on the electronics you used on trail to get all your footage and kinda how you did it because when I do it again, I would absolutely love to document it like this! It's great to be able to look back on it. Also would love to do the long distance trail of NZ! Anyways cheers! 💛🖤
Thumbs up and subbed just for the Big Bear portion. So many PCTers that I see posting vids go straight from the San Jac to Wrightwood. I'm biased, of course. This is home and the PCT is a big part of my job. Nice to see you guys enjoy Big Bear. My wife and I give rides every time we can and we are planning on some serious trail magic for the NOBOs this Spring! See you at Doble!!
I really enjoyed this PCT videos from start to end. Sad part when there is start there must be end. Sorry if i sounds weirdo here 🙄 God bless each and everyone in this universe. 🕉️☮️🌈 Life is wonderful
You have a new subscriber. Your video quality is tops. Great timing for all those prepping for 2020. And so far the Sierras is starting to look like last year.
