I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm a European, an agnostic, a student of ideologies and their adherents, but if I were a Muslim, I'd be a Shia and I wouldn't mind a Shia neighbour, they're the reasonable, rational, honorable face of Islam. Most people, however, encounter not only Sunni Islam, Bakris as you guys call them, but the crazies, the Mohammed Hijabs, Ali Dawahs, Adnan Rashids of this world, the two-faced snakes, liars and manipulators and it results in all Muslims being seen negatively and in due time, possibly being escorted to the border, no one wants religious nuts fuelling divisions in their society.

@@ali_alrawi It's funny really, I don't know why but there's a softness to Shia preachers, I may not agree with everything but you can feel there's love for humanity underneath, and love for truth, whereas Sunni preachers have a much more toxic us vs them tribal mindset that turns people off, Shias communicate in a much more measured, thoughtful manner and it resonates with people.

And even if they stay here, ghettos and isolated, resentful communities on both sides are a recipe for conflict.

Thank you brother I'm a convert to Shia Islam. I've noticed Sunnis mocking Christians and Buddhists for having the wrong calenders and mock Orthodox Jews for there calendar as well. I think mocking Buddhist, Christians, Jews, etc. is rude but also I thought the Sunni Hijri calender seemed wrong. But I always thought the Sunni Islamic calendar was wrong I accept 1446 AH is the current Islamic year but the hijri itself it seemed off.

Answer: The Holy Qur'an has divided the Companions of the Prophet into different categories, and it does not matter whether someone is a Badri or a non-Badri, believed before Hudaybiyyah or after Hudaybiyyah, before the conquest of Makkah came among the Muslims. or after the conquest of Mecca. Therefore, the real faces of these groups have been mentioned in the Holy Quran as follows: 1. The famous hypocrites (Surah Al-Munafiqun, verse 1). 2. A deceiver and a cunning hypocrite (Surah Towbah, verse 101). 3. Patients with hearts (Surah Ahzab, verse 12). 4. Those who listen to the words of the enemies who spread fitnah (Surah Towbah, verse 45-47). 5. Those who do good and bad deeds (Surat al-Tawbah, verse 102). 6. Apostates (Surah Al-Imran, verse 154). 7. Except for the believers, those who have been accepted (Surah Hujarat, verse 14). 8. Mawulfah al-Qulub (Surah Towbah, verse 60). 9. Fasiq (Surah Hujarat, verse 6). 10. At the time of war, those who turn their backs on the disbelievers and run away (Surah Anfal, verse 15-16). These ten groups of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cannot be considered righteous and pious, the verses praising the righteous and pious are also not included in them, otherwise there will be a contradiction in the meaning of the verses. The Holy Qur'an has informed about the apostasy of a group after the death of the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): And Muhammad is only one Messenger before whom many Messengers have passed away. will not harm anyone and God will soon reward the grateful. Although the tone of the verse is describing a condition (if the Holy Prophet dies or is killed, will you return to Jahiliyyah?) and the conditional case does not indicate its occurrence. If these verses are combined with the verses praising the believers, the interpreter can reach a clear conclusion and that is that some companions of the Messenger of Islam (peace be upon him) were righteous and some were not righteous. Ijtihad does not mean deductive reasoning Imam Sadiq said “I did the Ijtihad in the worship when i was young.” [al-Kafi Volume 2 Page 87 Hadith 5] Was the Imam a Mujtahid ,who tried to find Islamic law in a religious institute? “Ijtihad and Tajahud means to do a lot of work and to make an effort.” [Lisan Al-Arab Volume 3 Page 135] Ijtihad means effort, and the Imam did this with regards to worship activities. So he was a Mujtahid, a person who strived and struggled. First of all I am a quran follower and not a sunni, shia or member of other sects. My question is if thi video just tells us that the hijri calendar was in place in the times of muhammed and that the main difference is the start of the year (Muharram vs. rabial awwal)? But what about that there was no adjustments of the months names and now we have a lunar calendar with wandering seasons? How can this be the solutions of that time when there are so many better and more precise calendars? I am not convinced that it is a pure lunar calendar. What do you think?
Yes. Lunisolar is the correct calendar since the beginning of time. This is confirmed by dead sea scrolls passages mentioning about prophet Nuh pbuh period. Lunisolar meaning using regularly placed intercalary month every 33 lunar cycles. Just like what the jews, chinese, & babylons did. What pagans/ preislamic arabia does is they put intercalary months as they see fit, to move 4 sacred months (4 hajj months, where wars is forbidden) so they can go to war/make truce as they see fit, therefore in the long run, the calendar doesn't synchronized with season. Hijri/pure lunar calendar is the real bid'ah, as no civilization in the world before this or after this, use this kind of calendar that shifts around, with only one year in every 19 years correspond with seasons. He said they have lied, God curse them for that! Allah says “It is He Who has raised from among those who are Ummi an Apostle from among them, who reads out to them His Signs, purifies them, and teaches them the Book and Wisdom, for they were previously in manifest error.” (62:2) How does he teach them the book and wisdom if he is not able to read and write? I said why was the Prophet named as Ummi? He said because it was attributed to Mecca and this is evident from the Word of Allah “That you may warn the Mother of Cities and the people around it.” (42:7) The exit of the cities is Mecca. That is why they called it Ummi.” [Ilal Al-Shara’i Volume 1 Page 125 Hadith 2]
Ali (radi Allahu anhu) was caliph for six years after this calendar was establish, correct? If it is a counterfeit or invalid calendar, then why would he not have it overturned when he had the chance?

We Sunnis only celebrate 2 Eids, Eid el Fitr and Eid al Adha, we do not celebrate on other sacred days or during sacred months. Example, we respect the month of Muharram by fasting but not by hitting ourselves with chains to commemorate the death of Hussain (ra), this is a practice which has never been mentioned in the Coran. Hussain (ra) knew that he was going to be a martyr, but he never said that after my death do this kind of practice to commemorate my death. Look in Iran at the celebrations on their calendars, they celebrate the Persian New Year, they celebrate the death of Umar, Usman and many other celebrations. Where in the Quran, in the hadiths or in the words of the prophet itself is this said? That we should celebrate all of this?

Omar did actually put the Hijri calendar the it is right now ie starting with muharram and ending with Dhu Al Hijja. This is wrong according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), because he never in his nine year of fasting fasted in any other season but the winter ie Autumn. The arabs had two springs (Rabi' Al Awwal and Rabi' Al thani) the first one came in the Fall and the second one after the winter. Imam Ali's PBUH opinion is defined to be the truth in Shia Islam because of what the Holy Prophet said above Imam Ali PBUH and the truth being inseparable. So if Ali's PBUH opinion is different from those before him, we must assume that those before him are the incorrect ones, and that Ali PBUH is restoring the way of the Holy Prophet SAW.
