Man. Pagans and Koenigsegg - pretty much the only HyperCard manufacturers who make amazing cars for the sake of making amazing cars. That's the reason they steal shows and kind of leave the best cars of all time (like the Porsche 918) as an afterthought.

have asked a number of times but have never been given an answer. As Zonda's are not known to be road-legal in North America, how does one go about registering not one but two cinques? Are they "for show use only"? How does he have no plate on the front or the back. Not hating, just simply wondering because Dan is the man, what an absolute work of art. Although me personally I would have went to Pagani directly and spec'd my own 760 after throwing a ridiculous amount of money at them for another Zonda one-off.

Most traffic and highway patrol police around the world are envious a$$holes. Period. There are many decent and professional law enforcement officers out there, yet in traffic patrol services the opposite prevails. My late father and my granfather (my mom's father) were at some point in their careers motorcycle patrol officers (on different eras and locations) and over the years I heard several stories about their subordinates abusing their authority and/or harrasing drivers which they were unable to write a citation to, 'cause there was no cause for one. As senior officers they usually ended receiving the rightful complaints of the aggrieved citizens and had to put up the face for their departments to the complaining parties... and sometimes their counsel!. When they reprimanded the involved officers, most of the time there was no supporting explanation for their actions. "He was up to something" , "I could tell he was going to speed" , or "I know he was going to break a law" were the usual justifications. My folks moved up through the ranks, got honorable discharges and went into private business but they always felt uneasy about these instances to which they had no explanation for. They just attributed it to subjective factors affecting the officers judgement. After having owned sports cars and motorbikes for over 25 years, having lived on both sides of the Atlantic I can tell without hesitation , from my own experiences , there are two issues involved with traffic patrol policemen whom exhibit a pathologic harrasment pattern against high end machinery owners: 1) a twisted sense of entitlement as roads ultimate rulers. The mere presence of an authentic fast road vehicle seems to trigger in them a subconcious challenge (which purportedly can be connected to high speed capable machinery being perceived as superior to theirs) and therefore their basic "territoriality" defense instincts are fired up ; 2) basic human envy, as these vehicles are deemed as beyond their reach in their lifetimes, which is probably true for most of them but only because of their own conduct and outlook in life, not having anything to do whatsoever with their tenure as law enforcement personnel. I have experienced this unjustifiable behavior, having been approched by traffic patrol officers in several ocassions, but most memorable were the three times when I was merely returning to my parked car!! Parked, for well over an hour in each instance. However, been a practising lawyer I managed to turn the tables in each ocassion and then got to listen the most unplaussible and plain stupid explanations for those actions. Several of these fellows have a deep rooted belief that their badges gave them the right to harras with impunity. And that's a shame as there are fine individuals which have a genuine vocation to serve, to protect and whom, when called upon, display the selflessness and disregard for their own safety that put them on the level of heroes. That these fine men and women have to share the same uniform with the other bonehads is an insult to us all.

The roads there are incredible. I live in Dallas where there is a ton of oil and real estate money and our roads are horrible. As far as the cop, really, pull him over for no plates?/?? come on. I we FOLLOWED all the laws there wouldn't be any restaurants open or construction because all the illegal aliens would be gone. But like most humans we follow rules and laws that we like and screw the rest.
