I am glad you raised the Microsoft analogy. This is precisely the same argument. How many Office 365 subscriptions does Microsoft have (industry standard) and keeps expanding its contents and users. I see Palantir as the Business Suite for AI LLM/application. They produce real world AI applications for business. Palantir, however, is less commoditised, there is no real alternative and offers huge true/tangible real world savings to users.
Really like your videos and I am very bullish on Palantir as well. Can you please speak to the 21% institutional investors vs. what the induction to the s&p 500 would do?
Hi Tom, my question is why isn’t Boeing using Palantir software to improve their business to reduce incompetence that causing accident they keep having , if they want to beat your Airbus they need Palantir software to level the paying fields.
ok, I'll say it....This was FOUL PLAY by institutional investors . We all know it......In order not to fall prey to this kind of scumbag move simply HOLD....DO NOT SELL...Infact when it dips make sure to BUY....
Agreed, The leadership is the best! Their change curve is quick. I continue to dollar cost average. Not for the love of money, but because I believe in the Team their values the MISSION. We need more good organizations like PLTR.
I believe the analysts confuse the % professional services with the necessary requirements gathering, which is the most difficult part of the implementation process and where most software projects fail.
Interesting perspective on what might have happened. Anything is possible. When it comes to money, anything is possible. Thank you for your input. I enjoy your videos very much. Joe
It is the same shite with SAP and Oracle…. Tell me who has ever run one of these out of the box? Their whole business model is about sending you consultants for the next 5-10y to finally get the SW to fit your needs. And who pays for it?
PLTR's PE is 175 and the, say if their triple their nett earings, its still at 58 PE, how can it be attractive given recent trailing 12 months growth was not spectacular
Peter Thiel sold $273M of PLTR this year (including 7M shares in March and 6M shares on 5/8)... Isn't that the real reason why the stock is down so much? He's the co-founder of PLTR... Why is he dumping?
He actually said about 30 percent services. I would expect services to grow and be accretive to bottom line. Still, something about this company just doesn’t sit right with my gut.
No, the mind blowing thing is that one anonymous "analyst" caused the 15% drop. It doesn't even matter if it was manipulation or not, just the fact that it happened is mind blowing. Of course correlation is not causation, but I don't know of any other reason for the drop, so by process of elimination we can be reasonably sure that there's a causal link. Another common cause for similar behavior is "buy the rumor, sell the news", but there was no significant rise before earnings, so this explanation is unlikely.
I honestly don't understand why you're discussing these dubious schemes. There are plenty of options like Eledator and similar ones that are fast and profitable.
One of my friends works there she's dealing with government entities. She feels the companies disorganized, but part of that I think stems from her radiology, which is she's very liberal, and Pelletier is conservative.
I agree with you 100% but why in the world the founder just sold 20% of his holding which is 12000000 shares equal to 275 million $??! If he believes in his company!!
When I started looking at this company and I saw that they had 2 billion shares all I could think of was man this thing is deluded I'm sorry I'm not interested.
2 billion shares means nothing in comparison. They were diluting by adding more shares to the share pool but have mostly stopped and have announced buy backs. The 2 billion number means nothing
