Llyod and Brownie are 100% correct, and Kane is being typical Kane, with Port Power. I would like Llyod to give the same swing to Kane, and see how he likes it, because the position of Rioli hand was in such a way, that it was like a reverse handed karate chop to the jaw line, which Will definitely stun a person, and can knock them out.

Murphy had his eye on the ball, and he wasn't expecting to get a fist or slap to the face. Even a medium tap to the face without expectation can knock someone out, especially someone who's had numerous concussions. Can't believe anyone is defending it. You make intentional contact with someone's head, and you're done for a couple of games, at least.

Murphy is a diver, its a habit or strategy he uses! Rioli should get 1 week for illegal act, (2 probably because he's done it before). Murphy should be spoken to by the Magpies, he is embarrassing the club. In both the Rioli and Caminiti incidents, Murphy was the instigator, with Camitini he was getting purched from behind, with Rioli he was beenig scragged by the jumper at neck. Murphy wants to dish it out, but can't take it. He is a quite good player and brave on many occaisions, but he has developed a embarrassing habit of diving.

However, Murphy ran in to packs 5 or more times in the game and would have got a bigger hit to the head on any of those occaisions, but when he gets slapped, he falls to the ground, rolls his eyes, and has to be picked up. I am with Lloyd on this one, it was an intentional punch thrown, yeah it was a weak one but it should be set at two weeks minimum for intentional punches. Everyone’s talking about if it’s reportable, of course it is (2 x weeks) but what about a free kick not paid at a crucial moment of the game? Either interference with someone going for a mark or high contact take your pick. The whole stadium was focused on that moment including the umpires who apparently didn’t see it otherwise it must have been paid.

Ok you do Gooders. Why wasn’t Jamie Elliot cited when he punched Dawson n the forehead and caused him to bleed? In the Pies V Crows at the MCG recently. The vision was there despite the umpires not seeing it it. It was a deliberate action which he should have been answerable for but nothing was said about its ramifications by The Velvet Sledge Hammer . In fact he is one to comment about striking players and disguising it in the play when he was playing for the Dons. This system is so confusing.
