It was great to be back on your channel again! This was a fun discussion. Thanks everyone for joining the chat, and thank you Brant for having me on! Ace knocked it out of the park with this one 🤘
Great video! I really like the record, right now my favorite is Fighting For Life and my least favorite is probably Walking on the Moon even though I do like it. Its a strong album. I didn't really care for much of Spaceman but I'm gonna give that another spin and see how it sounds now. Take care!
Awsome video man loved this pannel has spoken video really cool that Xander was involed in this one 10,000 Volts is such an awsome album with a lot of kick ass songs i felt like this was ace at his best for me this one is ranked as one of my favorites along with origins space invader and spaceman cherry medicine is my favorite track off the album and the more i listen to this album up in the sky could be my 2nd favorite their both equally good have a great weekedn my man and take care
Thank you for the great show! 🤘👍🤘👍I would have liked to have been there live, but it's a different Time zone in Germany. The results of the panel are a bit surprising to me - especially the placement of the songs in the middle. But this also shows that Ace has presented a very balanced album that caters many different musical tastes. For me, the joy is what it is all about my 72-year-old guitar god has even made a new album. In my opinion, Ace Frehley and Kiss fans can be very happy with the result. And, as I expected, "10000 Volts" is a stronger rock album than the last two really weak Kiss albums "Monster" and "Sonic Boom". Overall the album is 8/10 for me. I've now been able to listen to the album four times on my Sonos sound system. It grows! At first I only knew the 3 singles - as videos. Without the images, the music comes across much better to me. My personal list: 1. Cosmic Heart 2. Blinded 3. Up in the sky 4. Fightin`for life 5. Statosphere 6. 10000 Volts 7. Walkin`on the moon 8. Constantly Cute 9. Cherry medicine 10. Life of a stranger 11. Back into my arms In my opinion, the production of 10,000 volts turned out very well... I'd be curious to see what it would sound like if Ace re-recorded his 1978 solo album with this type of production... Keep on rocking and greetings from Germany 🇩🇪🤘👍🎸🌍
@@InMyHead Thank you!🤘👍 Yes - it is a strong album. And as Xander already said: the top 5 songs were very difficult to decide (painfull picks - 5 times a 10/10-song)....maybe if I listen to the album again I would have a slightly different order - depending on my mood.
Dang I missed the panel! Great show, and great album. I still like his ‘78 solo more, but a few quality gems on this one. I won’t be lining up for any Thayer albums. 🇨🇦
Enjoyed the show. Long but great!! Even though I was excited to buy the CD and participated in rating the songs I have a change of view after about 5 listens to the CD. The songs ARE good , but I just cannot take Ace's singing. Steve Brown or someone else should have sang some of the songs. Ace has this tendency of over annunciating words and just sounds not-so- good. Would rather listen to Bob Dylan or Neil Young. Sorry!!
