Great video! This is such a good topic to cover. I am surprised you didn't bring up the language though, as I think it adds to the general weirdness of the setting. Realistically, we would probably combine languages like that if we went through an apocalypse like they did. I have the remake on my Switch. It's really well done in my opinion, and probably the best way to play the original. I also really like the Panzer Dragoon course in Sega All-Stars Racing. On a different topic, have you heard of a fighting game for the Switch called Blade Strangers? It's probably not your jam, but the roster of characters is interesting. When I saw Gunvolt as a fighter, I thought of you immediately. Worth a look.
I did play blade strangers. It's not very good lol. Also wdym I did bring up the language. That was like the first thing I brought up during the PDS segment
I need more games like Sin n Punishment so bad. On rail shooters barely exist in the indie era and some games like Ex-Zodiac are way too bland and tame for me to get into. Just really wish we have more options of rail shooters to play. What on rail shooters we got today?? GAL GUN!?!!!
Dead Space and Resident Evil both had okay rail shooters on Wii, and House of the Dead: Overkill is a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. I'm currently playing Killer 7 on PC which is worth a shot as well, no pun intended.
@@soratheorangejuicemascot5809 House of the Dead: Overkill and Killer 7 are both on Steam. HotD:O is a little tough to get working, but once you do it's great. It also has a typing mode if you like that type of thing (I'm old and don't know how to type. Long story).
As for rumours about Panzer Dragoon revival. Knowing modern Sega they will butcher Panzer Dragoon, like they did with Sakura Wars and PSO2 New Genesis. It's just impossible for today Sega make a such a good game like Panzer Dragoon Saga or Panzer Dragoon Orta. Not with that miserable Team Sonic.
@@TheKHC Yes, thankfully, it was AM6 R&D (Team Andromeda -> Smilebit) not Team Sonic. But today only Team Sonic can ,,make'' something from older franchises, because RGG Studio is busy with milking Yakuza, and Sega don't allow them to take a brake on this franchise. PSO2 Team is probably making JSR and Crazy Taxi as a live-service games. So like always, only Team Sonic left. Sonic development is very short, which means Team Sonic is the only one who can make a game from other Sega classics. And i'm pretty sure, next Panzer Dragoon game will be from them and they ruin this franchise.
@@TheKHC New Shinobi is made by Streets of Rage 4 developer (Lizardcube). AM6 / Smilebit is now part of RGG Studio, and they developing Super Monkey Ball games. The original Shinobi dev team (AM1) is now part of ... Team Sonic.
