The Motor Racing Book is a HUGE success and it's thanks to this amazing community! There's much more to come and I have EXCITING NEWS to share very soon with you guys! Also, I just launched a new GUARANTEE for my online course, The Motor Racing Checklist. If you don't cut your laptime deficit by 50% in 30 days, you get your money back. Curious? Check it out here: www.motorracingchecklist.com/
Not sure what I like most about this video, the banter between you and Cam OR the many sim racers at the end talking about how they got into sim racing!!
It was an honor to meet you, you're such a nice guy! Thanks for the signed book and the chat we had! Btw. I was the guy in the Aston Martin Outfit on Saturday in case you remember me 😆
I had such a great time at the Sim Expo and it was really nice to meet you and have a chat. I have already booked the hotel for next year so I can do it all over again! I met so many wonderful people and was pleased that they were interested in an old guy like me trying sim racing. This is really a fantastic community to belong to. Hope to meet you again some day Suellio. Now let's hope the book helps me to improve! 😉
Out of all the exhibits that I've seen, I greatly appreciate the spotlight you put on the CoffeeRacer exhibit. Just having a rig that can also work as a piece of furniture is a godsend. Plus the fact that it's also relatively affordable to my line of living is also wonderful.
The Actoracer Simulator was the best sim racing experience ever! I went on the one with triple screen and also did the nurburgring. The sense of immersion mad me smile and giggle non stop. I was just exited to be coming near a hard breaking point to be pushed into the seatbelt and feel the car moving, and could react way better to that motion. Dont have the money for one, but i'd say money wel spent to those that have it!
Just saw the Video today because i want to go to the Expo this Year. It nearly brought Tears to my Eyes, seeing you and all the other Guys sharing the same Passion. Love it!
Love the video and a huge congrats for you on the book release! Hope it does really well so we can get more juicy real life racing content! Keep pushing! 💪
Great video! Next year I would like to be there too! Congrats with your book launch! It’s amazing, like your video course. Now I’m just waiting for our coaching session. All the best.
I never got the time to walk around and try the different stuff cause we were busy setting up for the gt500 race 😂 so my impression is solely based on everyones content on the expo! This was great, the motion looked like we are getting somewhere in that essense.
Great to see you two had a blast! I noticed how happy you were to try out the Fanatec, however, I did not see a lot of enthusiasm when you were trying out the Asetek. I've heard only good stuff about Asetek and mixed reviews on Fanatec. Could you elaborate a bit further on the Asetek? I'm leaning towards getting the Asetek bundle!
that 50k motion rig was sweet! if that was with a good vr headset then you have felt full immersion, i know as its a bit like what im lucky enough to have at home an atomic a3 not quite as fancy but 2 dof and very responsive, in vr with simagic dd its sweet 😁
Nice to see actually fast people reviewing stuff. You didn't happen to try the Fanatec CS DD? I've already pre-ordered it but I'm still curious to see what you think about it.
I watched the course and I'm 75% through the book. The book really helps me slow down and absorb the concepts I learned in the course. Like a text book and lecture in school. I'm planning to go back through the course a second time after I finish the book. If you can only afford one, I would start with the book since you can read it when you are away from your rig :)
I love how people worry so much about oscillations thinking if they let go of the qheel it shouldnt shake. Yet every setup that day did that. People dont understand what oscillations are. You would feel it through the wheel without letting go anybody letting go of a wheel will start shaking and moving around even in a straight line. Sry just wanted to point it out for peoppe coming to dd you cant expect to have 0 when havinf it up in power. Dd are very sensitive so you want the detail and taking it all out will just dampen things and hurt the overall feel. So stop worrying about oscialltions people. Just enjoy the ffb expereince yall aint letting go of it on straight lines anyways lol I dont eant a dead feel on any part of the track.
