God loves but he definitely does not care

maybe you would summon up the courage to explain your claim, otherwise you're simply a clanging cymbal.

@@hoopfool8 easy God's love is akin to alcoholic parents sure deep down they love you in some way however they do not particularly care and the actual reality of that is not being cared for at all

@@nobodynobody4389are you speaking about something personal??? Do you believe God is real but distant then? Just trying to understand your thought process…

@@calkrahn9961 as for my personal experience I agree with the notion below as far as my line of reasoning here goes God positions himself as a supreme example of fatherly love yet when this is confronted with reality his love is more akin to alcoholic parent sure he loves you in some capacity but no one would call the practical application of such love as caring nor reliable hence the experience of god's love in my but more importantly in lives of many other people differs greatly from the image of loving father and that is the Reason why I claim that sure God does love you but he definitely doesn't care (which btw is his right as he is fully sovereign I just find it disingenuous whilr being described as perfect father)

@@nobodynobody4389ok I think I understand what you’re saying. It’s basically a question of what His character is. The question of why evil and suffering are allowed. As a sovereign all-powerful Being He’s not obligated to do anything, but calling Him loving is a stretch by human standards. Is that representative of what you’re saying? I definitely can understand this because when I look at the way the world is I also have plenty of questions at times. But then I also wonder if it’s my limited perspective that might be part of the issue. Finite mind trying to understand the Infinite. Maybe, in comparison, I’m like a child that doesn’t understand why I have to eat the vegetables that I don’t like. I know that doesn’t really fit at the same level…just sometimes I try to understand. Anyhow, all the best to you. The universe is big and doesn’t always make sense. Is God loving? I think so…but that’s a faith claim.
