Awesome, love paragiders. I am a PPG pilot and I still fly once in a while. But I used to fly every day. And I also was a BFI (basic flight instr), so I trained other pilots and gave them tandem flights. Paragliding took me to sailing. One day I was para-waiting next to a lake because it was too windy! And I saw these people having fun in the water, sailing and racing in hobie cats!! That's how I picked up this other passion!! In the following fly-in I returned with my own Hobie cat!! No more para-waiting!

Awesome to see you heading into the balkans. Check out everything you can, you won't reget it! As for the coast, just a bit north of you in Macedonia is the Bay of Kotor. Never been there, yet, but it is supposed to be stunning, however rather touristy, though.
Boka Kotorska bay is in Montenegro, not in Macedonia. A small country on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. If you come to Podgorica (the capital), you are at the sea in an hour and in a little less than two hours you are on the mountain. There are many beautiful places for paragliding. Welcome to Montenegro!
You really do inspire me plucky, as a fellow Aussie that has followed you,iv always had high respect for you when you find yourself in hard situations,yet you always come out the other side smiling. Living an sorted life and enduring a life long depression I'm really going to look into finding a parasailing group down my way in Sydney. Well blow me, all this time watching your channel and I didn't even know you were a PG pilot! I'm 57 and got my licence in Bright Victoria Australia 2 years ago and love it! My first XC was 55km XC last year. You are so right, there is no jumping off a cliff, you just get lifted off.
When I lived in Costa Rica I had to get new tourist visas every 90 days even after I got married. I lived by the border with Panama so it was close but it was a pain. At least you're in a pretty new place. I'll catch up with the boat give away videos to help out with views and make sure I haven't missed any more. Buena suerte Plukky, cuídate mucho. Imagine the preparation, skill and effort put in and after it all failing to even touch the nipple. It's heartbreaking, has happened to me a couple of times. Never tried paragliding though...

I am a paradox. As I aged, I became afraid of hieghts, yet I am not afraid of flying. I inherited vertigo caused by a malfuncting inner ear. In my youth, I loved flying in helecopters without doors and high speed tight turns. Like what you are doing with your channel.... It was a welcomed break I needed from writing....

@@robertlaird6746 just a little cav 26 I had to strip it and replace everything but they are amazing boats and i didn't leave the country, I live in NZ and the coast and surrounding islands are amazing. It really was amazing.

Pluky if you wear Polarised Sunglasses when flying you will see the Thermal's as dust particles are lifted it the rising air which you will see in the rising air. I use to teach Sailplane glider flying and have flown in the French, German, Austrian and Italian Alps plus Flat land flying in Germany Holland and UK enjoy your flying
@SAILINGintoFREEDOM Most of the West coast locations I see people launching here are quite dangerous in comparison. Rather take up base jumping first, more safe. If I get a chance to fly from somewhere not looking like a rocky crag of human sandpaper I'd enjoy it.
Plucky, can you compare/contrast hang gliding vs. paragliding? All those paragliding lines look complicated versus the solid wing and frame of the hang glider. I did some training until a stall and broken down tube.
