Steph I have four sons one daughter my youngest son who is now twenty five has Autism so we home educated we loved every moment and had so many pats on the back you are doing Brilliant well done and a happpy environment makes all the difference xx
@@Traceykathrine-ox8xq thank you ♥️ you know what when we first started home education it was supposed to be temporary and only until we could find a suitable school for Matthew’s needs but also close enough for Zak’s health too and we very quickly fell in love with home education and have never looked back 🥰

Thank you most mornings are like this nice and calm that’s why we chose to do it of a morning rather than an afternoon we only do afternoons on cookery day because we have homeed group in the morning time them days can be a bit more wild haha thanks for watching 🥰
my friend home schools and she does it like school up breakfast and 9am scghool thern break and another lesson then dinner ans same in afternoon lesson and finish at 3pm just gets themia rutine just like school and im glad u dont usualy vlog wile learning hun some vlogers do and the child looks moere at the camera thatn there books xxx
@@kathrynbroome5966 she must be following national school curriculum we did this for a year and it didn’t work for us we do our own curriculum which only requires 3/4hrs learning a day because we don’t take school breaks I.e Easter Christmas or summer 🥰
I just wanted to mention that I am not sure if you meant it to come across that way but you made it sound like you have to do maths and english if you home educate. Maybe you meant that that is what you require for you children. We dont have a legal requirement in England to follow any curriculum. By law we just have to "cause our child to receive a full time education suitable to their age and aptitude". The law doesnt define what that education has to look like though. English and maths can be learned through daily life or child leadand it still counts as education. Sorry if this comes across preachy but I just wanted to mention it incase you have been misinformed. Knowsley home ed officers are notorious for not knowing the law themselves. I've had to correct them in the past 😂
When I first began home education in 2015 it seemed this way after reading the legislation but recently the LA have been more pushy and have mentioned required daily numeracy and literacy in the reports we are semi structured so it works well for us anyway. You’ve not came across preachy at all don’t worry 🥰
@6littlelambs yeah, it sounds like you are doing what's best for you and it works for your family anyway but I just wanted to make sure you know that you have a choice not to follow any curriculum. The trouble with the Home Education Officers is that they are employed by the local authority who want children in school, they don't trust us parents that dare to be different.

I know they’re trying to change things so I think staying as we have done for years works well for us and if there is any changes we won’t have to change our learning style much or if any at all, the only curriculum we follow is a online math and English we create our own for the rest or follow Charlotte mason curriculum and exploring nature with children. It’s a lot to learn but all so worth it 🥰
@6littlelambs My daughter was refused an EHCP whilst at school but when she went to Greenbank college I tried again she got refused by this time she was 18 and had to leave that college as if 18 or over without EHCP can no longer stay. I appealed decision and took it to mitigation had a meeting and she was awarded an EHCP she never returned to Greenbank as she didn't want to. She is in another college for young adults with EHCP. Apply again for EHCP you can do it yourself. My youngest also just got an EHCP. Ps Glad your feeling better. X

@@Lisa-Peter7875 definitely ixl if she is only out temporarily they follow national school curriculum and have full gcse prep also use cgp books to keep on target (we also use these) we also use khans academy & bbc bite size x

@@kirstyosika7815 welcome to our channel ♥️ we’ve been home educating now for 9 years and explaining the channel name is no problem at all 🥰 we started off as 6 little lambs in 2018 when there where 6 of us our surname is lamb me and joe are the youngest of our families and then we had 4 children so it just suited and no one else had the name so was perfect to not get copyrighted in the long run we thought about changing it when we had Navayah but we decided not to incase we had any more children and the channel was already known as 6 little lambs by the times she was born ❤️
