Looks a lot better now than it did a year or two ago. Used to be shoulder to shoulder working girls everywhere but now it actually looks like somewhere decent to visit and have fun.
Dan I give you credit for having your camera out late at night. But, with that many people all around the odds of someone trying to steal a camera are very small. They wouldn't get far. Are you planning to visit other Colombian cities on this trip or are you just staying in Medellin? On my upcoming trip I'm visiting four Colombian cities. Plus, Panama City, Panama!
