What is Omega Strikers? In this video, we take an in-depth look at the development of the game, and the people behind it. In our pursuit of knowledge, as a channel first, we were able to conduct an interview with the community manager for the game.
Huge thanks to Aesop for taking the time to do the interview, and an even bigger thanks to the Odyssey team for creating Omega Strikers with so much passion. It's one of the best games I've ever played.

I think I already said this on the kind of good bye video but as long as we know/ you show your next game no matter what it is it will be played by 1 or 1000 of people create on and can’t wait to see what kind of game you guys make.(also my favourites so far in the game are Kazan and Kai but Juno sorry if I got that name wrong was the first character I mainly used in the beginning of the game also shoutout Alpharad sorry if I also got that name wrong but I saw the Nintendo direct and alpharad’s video and instantly got the game thank you

Well done with the review! Despite not being in my usual interest nor preferred genre. I still had fun with the game with what little time I spent on it. I am particularly amazed with the artstyle and gameplay of this game. From character and art all the way to the sound designs, everything fits just about right! Its really unfortunate that this game never took off since release. That being said, I have to say something about the interview here. It makes me happy to hear such passion still exists in this gaming era where a ton of games are released either too predatory in cashgrabs or basically fell into the usual trope of "unfinished game with bits and pieces purposely not included in the full package." For better or worst, it revived the fading fire of passion within me and inspired me to go on with my own personal projects regardless of the obstacle I may face in the future. I laughed and smiled when I heard him talking about all the things there is about Omega Strikers. I even cheered when he said his character character is Estelle. Heh, truly a man of culture you are sir. Good luck to the studio on your next project! Congratulations on the review release, I know you worked hard on this one and you just keep getting better at it. Looking forward to the next documentary movie!

For those who want to play this game I really recommend joining regional discord if you are in less popular region. For example, if you are in SEA you will mostly not getting games if people in the diacord are not queuing.

Bro you can't just expend the library of games I get hyped about so casually in a drive by. I thought the epicness and hype is tied to Starsector but it clearly isn't. The game is downloading while I am writing this comment and I will see how much fun I'll have with it.

One of a kind game that sadly just didn't land with most players. I will say that if you want to play this in 2024, it's perfectly playable, the game isn't "dead" if you are in US or EU. Give it a spin.

if you dislike gacha in gacha games, you may like how Limbus have it - while there is gacha to pull you can also buy every non-walpurgus identety (there only 12 characters but they all have alternative "versions") with correspoding shards. Those can be get from farmable boxes so as long as you have enough currency you don't need to engage with gacha system to get what you want. You do need a lot of grinding in the game howerer

I mean to be fair the scenery is nice...... Might have to go check it out. Edit: Also, very few people can get me to sit still and watch a 40 minute review of a game from a genre I normally ignore (they're cool but a lot of em and time is money). You got talent in this.

Great video. Just installed. Now you've intrigued me. Why anime, top-down games and other shit is much more niche than third person shooters? Does it relate to being perceived as "children" games due to "cartoonish" look, or as the board games? Or even as the books which today are read so much less.. While third person shooters resemble much more cinematography both with looks and even gameplay? Or it's brain that's lazy, stereotypical and racist? Edit: type corrections

FTP Microtransactions are allways WAY WAY to overpriced. Just the battle pass for this game is 120 dollars year... were as i can buy an entire game for 30 to 70 and enjoy it for the rest of my life. The game looks great, But I cant afford to be so wasteful. Update/response to comments: The battle pass is not monthly. The rightful cynic in me however can still only presume that the collective price of the microtransactions is still FAR greater then any single player game. Cosmetics are the game. The argument that its "just cosmetic" obviously does not hold up. I really hope they drop the FTP modal in the future.

The seasons last for like 5 or 6 months. Plus, you don't need to buy any battlepass in any game to play it

In total I’ve spent around 30 bucks on OS which was enough to get the striker pass and skins for every character I have interest in playing. There are also various codes to use in the in-game store which give some characters quality skins at no cost. I usually don’t like microtransactions but everything in OS feels very reasonably priced.
