I remember watching a documentary when I was a kid about Israeli and Palestinian kids trying to associate with one another as a project of some kind, and it was just heartbreaking that even the kids could not put aside the walls between the two people. They don't have to hate or kill one another, no one does or should, and yet here we are. There will be no peace without some kind of compromise on both sides and no one will be 100% satisfied, but if it creates a peace between the two people that can be enforced, then it would be worth it to see a generation of Israeli and Palestinian children not bearing the scars of war.
