The most terrifying thing about Nurgle is that by becoming these disgusting, mutilated, grotesque being his followers do find genuine happiness and are free from all the pain and fear. They escape the horror of 40k by becoming a part of that horror. By becoming a part of this family of followers of Nurgle. And Nurgle does genuinely love his followers too.

Small note I don't think anyone noticed, when he said "Hail Nurgle" he chants Nurgles name 7 times! Love the attention to detail!

I'm both horrifically disgusted and immensely entertained by this. Also, that Event Horizon reference was perfect cause this is definitely a ringer for how similarly grotesque that film and the their version of being stuck in a Warp Anomaly and a Space Hulk
