Neal Ford and Mark Richards have a couple of books out which deal with modern software and systems architecture which are incredibly dense. Practically they are writing THE handbooks for the next decade.

iSAQB CPSA (international software quality board, certified professional for software architecture) is a good start. they focus more on principals and methods over specific technologies, this way the earned knowledge can be reused in a broader sense.
