2nd that. Might need chains full time to keep the flaps from getting chewed under the guards when reversing if they catch on the wheels. Could knock up a little latch system to then pull the chains tighter and bring the flaps up under the tray when on the tracks.
Always feels like the last little things are the most exciting, loved the build series so far mate such a mint and detailed series, I’ve definitely learnt a lot I’m I’m sure everyone else has including yourself! Here’s to the camping trips this beast will have 😍🍻
5:38 I know there to long the the long mud flaps matches the back of the car really really well If I had to change to have long mud flaps I will lol 8:30 U NEVER TOLD US THAT U SOLD THE NAV!
Bro love it!!! Actually I’m hoping to take delivery of a 1997 gq tomorrow with that same bullbar and colour scheme as yours tomorrow!! Can’t wait to drop into gunshot with it
Nice mate. Can not wait to get back into a Patrol. You may remember me from Kenilworth in the Ranger with canopy. Ranger just ain't no Patrol on the tracks
@@RoamLyfe undecided yet mate. Ranger has everything set up for camping/touring but I love the tough tracks so might look at a cheapish GU for play rig
This car is mint bro been watching the build from day one good work keep it up 🤙🏾 and do not forget to do a rig run-down keen to know what's under the bonnet 👍🏾
Cut 70 mm off the the rear flaps and add piece of 3 mm steel the width of the flap to back side and bolt up and will clamp the flap like a sandwich and will make them sit better but she is looking mean and with some nice alloy bead lock look rims will be next level let. Me know first if u sell this thing like the nav would love the old girl
