Another great review! Use Noctua's new NH-L12Sx77 and replace the stock fan with a Silverstone Air Slimmer 120 (SST-AS120B). NH-L12Sx77 is 77mm tall, which is exactly the same as this MILO-12 case's max CPU cooler height! Silverstone Air Slimmer 120 and Air Slimmer 140 fans are amazing, highly recommend. I always liked Silverstone's cases and am excited to try this one (whenever there is a cheaper used one somewhere).
My boyfriend still still watches a lot of movies and series by DVD and kinda got me interested in it too. So to find this is actually a good thing for me.
Silverstone has been making cases like this for ages. A bunch of Milo models in various sizes as well as the gaming oriented RVZ series...and they've been good. I'm glad that they still continue to make them and I'm guessing they'll at some point make a Raven series version of this with more gaming look...
in terms of PSUs: Just get the Corsair SF750. Done. Or if you really wanna go ATX, go get something by Seasonic, eg. the Focus PX series. Modular and just 150 mm deep. And yeah, the "P" in "PX" stands for 80+ Platinum.
I dont know what office you're working in, but office PCs haven't looked like that for a very long time. Perhaps you mean "boring". I suppose buy silverstone makes great cases in my opinion.
I like the Silverstone SST-ML09b more in case that you need either a low profile or single slot gpu but it's way smaller and you can still put a lot of harddrives inside.
Its basically an office-like looking case on the outside, while being a Raven RVZ03 or Fortress FZ01 on the inside. Personally I prefer the ML11 though, because mATX, but overpowered in similar ways.
it just has 1 improvements compared to its ascendant of ML08: the pcie riser card change to pcie riser cable, it's truely change motherboard/graphics independently.
Oh no, Dell and HP could definitely make this, but they insist on making proprietary motherboards and parts. Dell is making changes to cooling hardware this coming year and HP is not going to rely solely on proprietary stuff in the coming years. This case is really cool for people in the hobby space but I wouldn't deploy 200 of these in a big office space. Duck that. Yes, i do work in an IT dept.
