Indiana Judy here. Love that these bold explores get tagged with “Indiana Jones” descriptives. I’m also glad this was a beautiful place to explore. I like to think about being there when such a formation went through its growing pains. And you all are very brave.
@RichardVobes

Hardly brave - it is all so easy really, but certainly beautiful.

That’s an incredible place - it looks like some ruins of a temple in a tropical place like Thailand! Somewhere to add to the list!

I've always said there is no better church on this Earth than the nature God created (and this comes from the daughter of two ministers - also the sister & granddaughter of + a very long line of preachers on my Dad's side).

Crumbs! That was unexpected. I had no idea such a place existed in the UK. It had a Lost World quality about it. Very tricky to get a sense of scale of the place on camera, but you succeeded admirably. Great adventuring you three, even if you had to join a queue to do so! 🤣

@@RichardVobes they do seem to be particularly troublesome in Derbyshire. Hopefully not quite so bad in Sussex, I am feeling the need for some fresh air!

I really enjoyed your trip through the chasm ! There were some rock climbs up the sides of the gorge, but never popular as the rocks are coated with moss etc
@RichardVobes
@RichardVobes 5 лет назад
Not a lot of grip I would imagine and more danger with slippery moss.

Oh.. by the way I can advise you after 30 years of mountaeering "crampons" are used by us climbing folk for negotiating snow and ice fields.. and in more extreme cases mixed snow,ice and rock. Only used in Winter. Contrary to what people might think... Despite the 'famous five, secret seven" feel of a place like this which is super for exploring! The dampness and greased nature of the rock is a climbers worst nightmare !!
@RichardVobes

Good morning.

Ah, that makes sense then, hence why there was no sign of climbers there. Thanks John.

well as I said prior on another video this is a superb location more so if you are into Arthurian legends...there a new film based on the story of Sir Gawain and the green knight... directed by david lowery which isn't completed as yet as far as I know...which will be worth keeping an eye out for im sure...ralph lneson whos a cast member was also in the Arthurian film the First knight ...the Green knight is due out sometime in 2020.....theres also the 1973 film directed by Stephen weeks which he remade in 1984 and was titled Sword of Valiant and starred Sean Connery as the Green knight and Miles O'keeffe as Sir Gawain...as a film its not bad it is on youtube but it aint a great posting of it...it still can be bought on ebay and if cheap enough worth buying.if you wish a copy.heres link to lowerys film on IMDb.i wonder if luds church will feature be a shame if he doesn't use the location www.imdb.com/title/tt9243804/
