Hi joe I use the pellet feeder regularly especially when I want to have a nice compact trap ! I also find it can work well in deeper water and I’m more confident the bait is still in the feeder when it hits the bottom. It sometimes scores well chucking it on the pole line when fishing shallow at 13 or 14 meter when the fish drop down in the water. Nice suggestion about a 2inch hook length I usually use 4 inch so I may tweet this. I also like the way you prep the micros I’ll definitely give this a go all in all a cracking vlog pal 🐟👍
Great video, I love the pellet feeder. I tend to use the Sonubaits micro wafter, it’s a bit more resilient than an expander especially if silvers around. I’ve tried 2” hooklengths this year and they do make a difference for F1s.
Everyone is the same 🤣 I did a filming day with a famous feeder mam a few years ago and he chucked a method and hybrid and couldn't catch. Swapped to be pellet feeder and bagged up. It can be a game changer on the right venue
Good vid Joe, have you or would you do a vid about different methods I.E banjo, hybrid, pellet and method, and why n when to use the different types😁cheers👍
It's to cushion the feeder into the water when it hits the clip. If you let the feeder just splash in there is a chance the presentation could be spoilt.
My pellets do not all come out of the feeder after a few minutes in the water. When I turn out, half of the pellets are still into the feeder. What's wrong or is it just right?
It could be the batch of pellets. A good trick is to prepare the pellets two days before, once fully soaked stick them in the freezer. Once thawed out they lose all tackiness but stay spongy and won’t get clogged 👍🏻
.. when I see rod and line in one line- I have a decision straight away!! Person dont know what how and what he is doing. Video- doesnt deserves an attention. Crap 100%!!
