Oh also, I think the reason he had to sledgehammer the safe to open it was because there was no power to the Iceburg lounge due to Riddler’s flood. They say the wealthier areas had help but the poor areas were still struggling.

I fully acknowledge this is probably that poisoned Easter egg brain thing you were talking about, but I’m wondering if the new drug to replace drops may be something we know from the comics. The only thing I could think of them doing is maybe Bane’s drug, venom. But I don’t care if it’s a comic connection or not I really enjoyed this first ep!

Yeah I actually do think Venom is a very good call! I doubt it’ll make everyone into Banes, but could totally see that happening.

Was there a particular reason why the Pilot wasn't the classic 9pm Sunday Night HBO release like the rest of the season will be? Cristin Milioti is absolutely terrifying in her role! Has Dear Old Pete ever tried therapy? :)

I believe it was to tie it to the red carpet premiere, is my best guess? Which again speculation but I’d bet that had to do with folks schedule.
