I love the way they portray Oz as a quick thinker who constantly talks & maneuvers his way out of tough situations. It sells him being this street-wise gangster who's been doing it as long as he does in a way I don't usually see don't as well. It'll make his claim to kingpin role by the end more satisfying to me.
Pretty smart of Oz to plant the knife on the bodyguard and not Viti as he initially planned. Viti's got strong alibi, all that time he was with the don himself to confirm, Sofia's bodyguard however... his job was to look after the Maroni, a perfect fall guy.

@@nicolasdiez7688 Yeah, I enjoyed how savvy & quick-thinking they're plausibly portraying Oz in this show by throwing curveballs & having him navigate them. It's not a case of a film/series saying a character is clever but they have things generally going smoothly for them.
@@themadtitan7603 Yeah, Oz is more relatable so to speak. He is not a genius crime lord like Gus Fring. Oz has his own issues and weaknesses, and tends to improvise most of the time, and his plans are more of short-time. His ambition drives him to become the new Don in a short amount of time. He always has to come up with lies, yet he knows perfectly what to say with the right words. That's Oz' best quality, his rhetoric and speech, the way he uses carefully his words, with different people is on another level
This is the Penguin we all know and love. Uses his cleverness, cunning and ability to manipulate situations in his favour. If Colin doesn't get an award for this role, there is seriously something wrong. 😂
I love the smarts of planting it on the bodyguard and not the guy he was fighting with. He plants it on the guy he fights, that guy just has to say "Oh, come on, Oswald JUST got up in my face and put his hands on me, he obviously planted that!" but no-one suspects that he picked a fight with Guy 1 to plant the knife on Guy 2.
LOL That comic is wrong as Batman is VASTLY smarter than Penguin in literally EVERY way, Nothing about the Penguin is "sMaTteR" than ANYTHING of the Batman AT ALL as BAtman is 10000000000000x times more intelligent than the Penguin can imagine, just stop spreading nonsense like that which has NO feats AT ALL to back up in the slightest.
I have a question, when Oz had the time to meet with Vic, get the jewels, go to the bodyguard's apartment and plant them here. Luca and Sofia checked the body shortly after Oz killed him, so he wouldn't have the time. Is this a plot hole?
