Choirs back in the 80s and 90 were so anointed the best time to be in a choir they ministered to our spirit now in 2023 it's just about entertaining SAD Lord bring back the days 😢
I was shocked when Spotify brought this up in my playlist and was almost brought to tears because this was one of the songs my mother used to play while she was cleaning the house every day.
The choir director is A. Jeffrey LaValley🙌🏽🔥the same man who in the 80s wrote Revelation 19:1 that Maverick City and Kanye’s Sunday Service choir sings!🙌🏽
I met him in person at a GMWA concert in Florida, he might have been having a bad day but he was extremely rude and belligerent to everybody, he is an extremely talented musician but he needs to get over himself, and he hates Shirley Caesar for some reason
There will never be a greater love that a man would lay down his life for us. We owe it all the Jesus. What more can he do? Ha laid the foundation and made the way plain, what more can he do?👏🏽🙌🏽
“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but dung, that I may win Christ” Philippians 3:8
I must admit I had to rewind it several times bf I watched the whole video The intro on them keys was phenomenal! I actually thought the piano player was a woman I have done some research and found out that it was Ricky Grundy Wwoooow Keith Pringle Jeffrey Lavaley Wonderful! Gospel music with gospel music then
That's Rickey Grundy. He was a dope pianist. This album is a classic. Jeffrey LaValley, who got up to let Rickey play, is a beast too. I love the playing they both did on this album.
Yes he is still alive. And he still the Minister of Music at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church of Flint, Michigan. He is also a Preacher as well.
