The Untold Story Behind Ron Winans Passing! 

I believe God can use our sickness to his glory. Ronald had the victory either way!! He won !!! ❤ being a believer!!!

I was at both Ron Winans and Pop Winans funerals the way that my pastor approached losing his brother and father helped me with losing family members. When you are saved and raised in the culture yes, we will miss our loved ones. But it hits different when you know they will be in heaven When you get there. Read the Bible accept Christ as your savior, find a good church! Spread the news this is the Gospel!

I listened to my mother's Dr, he said the same thing to my mother, God gave her a year and 6 months extra. We knew God was going to bless and He did. She had seen all of her grandchildren, her spiritual children came to see her and her friends. I was there when Jesus picked her up. I saw her spirit. I will never be the same. Jesus is real.

I believe God used Ronald Winans to reach the cardiologist as otherwise that doctor may never have come to Christ. Praise God for his life and for this powerful testimony.

I'm reminded of a lyric from an old Gospel song: God specializes; and He'll do what no other power (Holy Ghost Power)...can do. Thank God for the life and testimony of Elder Ronald Winans...respect and RIP.

As a doctor, this hits home. I pray heaven down everyday before i go into the hospital.

I had the pleasure of playing a few Concerts with Ronald Winans and Donnie McClurkin. All I can say is When Ronald lifted his voice it was like a calming thunderstorm that stirred my souls

This is powerful. I have a friend in the Philippines whose mother dies because she had a hole in her heart. The daughter also has a hole in her heart and we are believing God for a miracle. Please help me pray for her that God will heal her.

Hear me when I say...there is NO family like THE WINANS!!!!!! My goodness I adore this beautiful family so much....this blessed me. I know if Pop Winans prayed for that Dr. he felt something.

I was on the road with the entire Winans family when Ronald was a living testament to God's healing.

As Christians, we still have to be very health conscious. As God would want us to be.

I've always appreciated the Winans family. I like their music but most importantly the deep seated faith of Mom and Pop Winans to do what it took to keep the family on the righteous path in Christ Jesus.

Our mother had a heart condition. The dr said it would be bad either way if she had the surgery. We opted for the surgery. We march by her bed say “ good bye”. We really DID’NT KNOW it was good bye. She passed on the operating table. I almost lost my mind. When they let us see her body, she had the most PEACEFUL look I have ever seen in my life. It’s been years now, but I miss her dearly. She was tired. She was READY TO GO. ❤

Powerful. When a person tells you they are ready to go, you have to release them. I just experienced this with my 29 year old son that had stage 4 colon cancer 💜💔

Mercy! What a sad and beautiful testimony. I have lived part of that 90 percent blockage. But God helped the drs save me.

They have a nice song on the ‘3 winans brothers’ album called ‘I really miss you’ which is dedicated to Ronald.

When my eyes were open to the fact that it was my mom’s choice…. I was able to deal with loosing her. She passed away from colon cancer. I asked God to help me understand why did he take her. He cou have healed her…. He did answer my prayer and it made me able to-grieve for and not be made at God. I love God he hears your prayers.

I remember when my pastor rushed to Detroit to be with the family when Ronald died the first time. Glad Ronald was able to do Ron Winans Family and Friends V before he died.

Ronald always caught my eye when the winans would perform. I could tell the words of these songs were so real to him.

I have heard Bishop Winans tell this story many times. The more he tells, the more my faith is stirred.

Thank God he understood that God has the final say and he respected Ronald's feelings.

What I learned from my mother & father's passing is that no matter how much we prayed in "Faith" for their healing, deliverance, and long life, God is going to "Honor" what is in the " Heart" of those who in the verge of dying / ready to go. When they tell the Lord they are tired and ready to go even when they know we are praying for them to live, we don't want to hear them saying we are ready to go home with the Lord because to us it's like they are giving up, when it's really not from their perspective. Going back & forth to the hospital, suffering in pain, going into cardiac arrest or some other debilitating disease that has no cure, and not doing what you enjoy and love,that's not living ,that's suffering physically and mentally. Love them while they are here and accept what they want and desire, even when they say they are ready to be with the Lord and their loved ones who are already there. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾♥️

Yes Lord, God has the final say so...Jeremiah 29:11 the chosen are always in God's hand! He knows the Ending from the Beginning!❤😊

I met Ronald Winans in the late 80’s and he was so nice to me as a child backstage at their concert. I will never forget that. 🙏🏾❤️

My mom died at 67 of pancreatic cancer, my grandad died in his 60's of cancer and they both had got to the point where they were ready to go. My grandmother died at 98, but she kept praising God the whole time. You see, life and death are in the power of the tongue, therefore, speak life. Psalms 91:16 says that God will Satisfy us with Long Life and that's what we have to believe and stand on, I know I do!🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

Wow, I remember that whole thing like it was yesterday. From hearing of his heart exploding, to him getting healed, to his going home to be with the Lord. I can say I have the honor of seeing the Winans in 1990 and 1991. Ronald was there. He was the powerful voice of the group most certainly. Still miss him to this day in 2024. Oh I also had a heart condition called a atrial myxoma in 2016 that the Dr's had to go in and literally take out from the inside of my heart. Very rare, but the Lord got me through it.

The humility of Ronald Wiians was evident in every song he composed and performed, remains indelible in my memory. The Shalom Pentecost Church in Pennsylvania, once led by the late Bishop Jesse T. Stacks, orchestrated and hosted a city-wide choir event that brought together a diverse array of voices from different communities. Handpicked by Ronald, these individuals performed under his skilled and inspired direction. The event drew the rest of the city in a show of support, culminating in a Christian assembly that surpassed any secular event in the city's history. It was a time when the oil of joy anointed everyone and the Glory cloud descended upon all. The committee had organized a second, more intimate setting for our Guest of Honor and church members to relax and eat, until Ronald spotted the sight of another piano---It was round two. He led us up agian in whorshio as the divine presence envelop us as we sung old and familiar songs from the Winans Brothers' repertoire resonated throughout the room. Ronald didn't want to leave, and we were equally hesitant to part with him. I belived with all faitith, it's over. until God says so". Rest in Paradise, Minister of Music Ronald Winans.

What I respect about people like Ronald Winans is that Ronald for the time that he was here lived a quiet life. You ain't hear about him involved in no scandal or nothing crazy, never compromised or sold out like most of these gospel artist today. He just lived as a messenger for the Lord and that's all we knew him as before he passed away. Plus he was a walking testimony of the miracle working power of the Lord

My favorite Ron Wianas! My son Ronald loves Ron. I took my son to see the wianas when he was five and he loved the concert. My Ronald got a chance to meet Ronald at a CD release in Cleveland it was the highlight of my son’s life. My son took it hard when Ron passed. So did I. Happy Birthday Ronald💕💕

In real time, every program across the city of Detroit stopped that Sunday night and prayed for Ron Winans, I remember it so vividly because it happened where I was and then upon talking to various people their programs had stopped where they were too!!! Detroit loved Ron Winans. And he sure did live another 8 years.

This gave me hope and more to understand: My mom passed away at the age of 45...I didn't understand, but she gave it over to Jesus: Now, I feel better in knowing: my grandmother died at the age of 66: My late Auntie passed away from complications with diabetes at the age of 65: I would see her throw her right hand and arm in the air, praising God: I wanted her to stay, but she wanted to go with the Lord! I got it!

My momma said the only way she knew I was sick is when I chose not to eat.
