I have half the hair she does now that I'm 57. I'm still going to try this. I had her hair when I was younger. Love this trick I just hope I don't get my curling iron all tangled in the back. I'll update everyone. I wish we could put pics on here.

You curl hair so perfectly! I can never figure out how to use a curling iron that way 😭 I do use a wand but I feel like it doesn’t come out as pretty as this.

Agree...I try to finger comb mine out and then they get frizzy and crazy...so the next time I just gently finger comb and then they tend to stay separated and...I just struggle getting a beachy look...😏🤪🤨 definitely going to try the product application before finger combing. Fingers crossed. Lol

Do you have any tutorials on a hack for the waver/crimper irons tutorial or can you do one? I dont have one of thoss crimpers but am thinking there has to be a way to achieve the look with a flat iron or curling wand??
MO's wife- Need some help please... been trying this hairstyle for 2 to 3 months now. I have the curling iron technique down cold, even have the bed head crimper for waves. I have all the right products, but where I get stuck is once I'm done with the curls and I use my fingers to relax them, the ends of my hair always flip out instead of downward. So instead of beachy waves I look like I'm back in the early 2000's when we all started using the curling iron to flip our hair out instead of under. Can you visualize this? I wish I could post a picture 💇🏼but anyways can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I thought it was because I had layers throughout my hair but my girlfriend says layers have nothing to do with it and they're all long enough to make these waves. In fact she attempted this look on my hair and succeeded. Now I'm really at a loss cuz there's never been a hairstyle I haven't been able to achieve. Please please please HELP! Thx gals✂️💕
Hey! I know, I wish I could see a photo of your hair :( have you tried pulling down the hair with the curling iron after curling or straightening the ends? I know you mentioned your girlfriend did the same look on you and it did what it was supposed to do .. did she have any advice for you when she was curling your hair or was she doing anything different that perhaps your not doing? :)
Me: I prefer my hair to be straight and plain with a soft u shape and no texturizing. Most hairdressers: No, it’ll look thin. Proceeds to give give me this same squared off lob bob type dealio with texturizing. Looks ok at salon and like a freakin disaster at home and scraggly. Me: I never ever use the word thick at salons. I like my hair straight and soft. I could care less about volume. I like this client’s before hair. That’s the same texture as my hair and how I prefer to wear it.
Butterfly0258girl Because I’ve gone to several salons in NYC, asking for a trim or to fix my hair to get back to the simple style that I like, and they refused and gave me the same haircut you see here and everywhere now. I finally found someone who will cut my hair the way I like it and I can finally wear my hair down and styled off of my face.
Her hair dosent look that thin lol....o.ok.didn't see the extensions...very pretty ...I still.like my hair old fashioned wavy hair lol ..I hate when my ends are straight looks good on her tho ...she looks like Sarah Michelle Geller!!!

Helpful but tired of tutorials on girls with extensions. I want to see one on thin fine hair without extensions! This gal has about 3 times more hair than me!
Can’t see what you are doing. If you curl closer to the root it would really give her more volume. Checkout Harmonize Beauty she is an amazing hairdresser she knows how to get that volume.
