i love seeing how other people organize this game. i just have everything in a wooden craft box. but i'm really crafty and handy with the sewing machine so i made little velvet bags for each character with their names embroidered on it. i made them big enough when i can fit everything for the character (cards, figure, player's card, any extra little tokens, etc) in the bag. so all i have to do is hand you the board and the bag. im so proud of it. i wish i had more people to play with so more people can appreciate it.
@@chanelharvey89 yes for Villainous. Could you give me an estimate on how much it would cost to make them? Or maybe the dimensions? I found some that were 6x9 inches but wasn’t sure if that was tall enough for the board with the drawstring pulled
I cannot thank you enough for this video, it has made me so happy to condense everything in one box. Just an idea that I do, I put each villain's how-to guide and one action symbols card in the corresponding villain's board. That would give you even more room for a couple new decks!
I got mine from a store on Etsy. They are stored as individual villains. It takes up more space, but I like the organization better that way. Easier to just grab a villain and start playing.
This is awesome! Really creative storage solution! Just played Villainous last night and got this video as a result when looking for videos on the game. I wonder how many games can be stored like this!
Thanks for putting this video out. Just got all the expansions in the last month and was starting to look for a better storage solution. My favorite villain is probably Prince John - but really because Robin Hood was my favorite Disney movie as a kid. If I had to go based on mechanics, it would probably be Ursula or the Evil Queen
I actually have then in velvet bags... Each villian has there game piece, cards, special tokens, player guide all in own bag. Working on getting patches of each villian to put on bag for more personalazation of the bags to each villian. Just have to find big enough storage case for all of them
That is so freaking nice! Ima get this DIY started here soon. I might see how this fits other games *'cough'* Catan '*cough*' and maybe make more. Thanks for the video brother!
I use a similar case from Harbor Freight for several of my games, so when I was searching for Villainous storage your thumbnail just reached out and grabbed my click.
This was very helpful, thank you. My favorite villain to play as is Dr. Facilier. Villainous is my favorite board game series. My opinion I hope one of the next villains are either shere khan, claude frollo, or oogie boogie.
I basically did the same thing with the hobby lobby artist box. I painted the inside green, used black foam core make an insert. Then I burned the logo on with a burning pen.
I also got a storage case for Disney villainous and i need just 1 more expansion (Bigger and Better) Haven’t played all villains yet but my favourite villain to play so far is Prince John. But i also like Evil Queen and Hades. Wondering what other villains are like.
Hi, I love your video and I've decided to do it myself. I was looking for the pencilcase by the link in description, but it's not available right now. Could you please suggest me an alternative or write some measure so I can find something similar? Thank you! Marta
(Evil grin) well, considering I lucked up and found the disney core for $10 at walmart then going to target and getting the Scar box for $8 and the Cruella box for $10.30 (I'm a sale hunter.....nuff said) I am really liking this all in one storage option although I may try one of the Plano boxes first since I have 2-3 on hand.
Legit was just discussing consolidating the Villainous pile at the house last night! Love this idea! My favs to play so far are Maleficent and Horned King. Captain Hook was also very fun!
Yes plz and thank you. Even if I never get to travel again, having a pretty case that holds *all* of them is still super convenient this is great. Also, my favorites are so far are Pete and The Horned King >:D
Will you post the link you used for vinyl cut out? How did you cut it? What machine did you use? (I have cricut and not sure if I can do just anything without a cartridge)
Where did you find the font for Villainous? I had bought a box to store all mine and it doesn’t fit them all even before the new expansion. Love this idea.
I agree the original boxes take-up space, and I am not against the suitcase...but you can't compare the beauty of the original boxes to that silver container 😝
I was thinking to myself, as someone who has just gotten into this, how I was going to travel with this game in the future! Thank you for the idea! Since I am new to this I just wanted to check: can Marvel villains be played in the same game as Disney villains? It sounds like they can but I didn’t know if they have different actions or game play that made that impossible.
Also love that you said you didn’t know how many people were looking for this video when I specifically searched how to store all the Villainous games 🤣
Someone Needs to Tell Disney to just sell a decent Villainous Box with a unique villain or two included. I would pay A LOT for a high quality Villainous Box with Judge Claude Frolo, Long John Silver, or Boogieman as an included villain. Smash Up! Has sold like two of those types of boxes and every person I know who has a Smash Up Collection has one (despite the box being a cheaply made piece of crap).
This is a great idea but the way that the playing pieces are just jammed in one side triggers my OCD. Some of those pieces are fragile and I don't think they'll survive rough treatment.
Definitely not in this case, but a larger camera case of the same style would work. I would line up all your sleeved decks and measure them to get an idea of the space you need.
What can one use as a divider like the foam core you used to separate the power tokens from the other tokens in the pencil case, if you don't have foam core or can't buy any?
Lord of the Bord has villainous tips for all the characters if your interested I don’t know the link so I’ll just say type in Disney villainous lord of the board
It's linked in the description, but it's been sold out for a while now. Amazon, Newegg, Walmart, eBay. It may have been discontinued. There are a number of similar cases on Amazon.
I'm pretty confident the new Loki expansion would fit. Don't have it yet so can't make any promises, but I'm almost certain it would. Though if they keep making marvel expansions, a second case would probably be needed.
The printed out deck boxes have a sleeved variant and are about twice as thick. I'd say make those, then measure them and all the other components (stacking them in a rectangular pile as if they were in a case works pretty good for this). Then you can start looking for another case big enough. This style of case comes in a bunch of different sizes. Hope this helps!
