Crazy! But what about the shell? I hear that these replacement shells often don't fit perfectly in one way or the other, or feel like they're made of lower quality materials. What is this one like?
Hi, I love your video and I've decided to do it myself. I was looking for the pencilcase by the link in description, but it's not available right now. Could you please suggest me an alternative or write some measure so I can find something similar? Thank you! Marta
I know there is something to be said for original hardware, but I would use an emulator for most of these consoles. The biggest difficulties come in when dealing with legacy PC games. Stuff from the end of the 90s. Some of the Win95/98 stuff can be really hard to get working in a VM or any other emulation. I went so far as to build a Win98 PC to get a few specific titles up and running properly.
I bought a pokemon game for my gameboy poket but the game I bought only works for gameboy color or poket color so I had to buy another game so I got pokemon yellow
I made my own dice towers and used cardboard as the base of the builds. It cheap and affordable and I always seem to have it on hand. I think I might make a go of this.
Thank you for the video, I bought the book but decide to to with a super simplistic (no cobblestone) version. I think I may try other materials other than foam later as well, thinking of thinner materials than foam panels
Do you have a video on how to stream NES and N64 or SNES actual console games played on your tv to twitch live? I have been having trouble with that would love a video about that as well thanks!
What model camera is this ? Or could you recommend a old 90’s camcorder with that old school look just like this one. My daughter is 18months old and I want to capture times & memories on a old camcorder to look back on in years to come. Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂 Robbie
I have a GBA that is in need of an upgrade like this but I'm not going to drop the $60 for an IPS kit because I don't use the system much. It's in a drawer now and I took it out yesterday to use the GB camera and everything still works. Don't want to fork out the $ for something that's going to sit in a drawer.
How do ppl get literally like an hd display from retro games like nfl street 2? Is it cuz i play off a onn tv and use elgato to transfer and display on a monitor to then stream off obs?
talk talk talk talk talk, that's all you americans seem to do, i'd just like to say, and lemme tell ya something lol, get to the point ffs lol thought you were going to show us how, not plug a hundred devices
I got mine from a store on Etsy. They are stored as individual villains. It takes up more space, but I like the organization better that way. Easier to just grab a villain and start playing.
Your birthday party deserves so many likes for the old school vibes coming from your camcorder, and for the coolest collection of creatives I ever want to be around. BTW, what projector did you use to display the Duck Hunt gameplay?
Thanks bro, I just started this recently because I love the classic consoles and games, and it's been great except for the small streaming screen and no external volume on OBS
A really nice build. I would be tempted to put some extra bracing in for the dice deflectors, especially if you are using heavier dice. These will get quite a lot of bashing over several sessions and would be a pain to repair. You could use double or triple foam thicknesses glued together (if there is still room for the D20), or add popsicle sticks on the underside. I would also push some pins in from the outside to give extra strength. I would also paint & mod-podge the inside before sticking the front wall on, again to give the deflectors strength.
You said MOD podge in this vid and then a clip of the jar appeared and it said MOD podge and it blew my mind. I’ve always said MODGE podge. I’d swear everyone else has said MODGE podge and that the label said MODGE podge. Mandela effect? Multiverse? 😱
