The PERFECT Balance Changes For Arya 

I think the up special changes might have been a little too aggressive on second thought but I still stand by the thought process behind it, i would rather it be used as a combo starter than an actual damage move

Great video, you touched everything. My main problem is the stealing face, I think its useless and the perk is useless too. Instead the idea of using the dagger as a teleport is very cool

I think they should work on giving an entirely new unique perk to her, and all characters that don’t already have 3. I never understood why some characters get three, and others only two. especially when some perks are ally dependent; essentially making it 1 for some characters outside of 2v2s.

I’m a top 800 arya, and I do believe this is a way to make her better for everyone in general, but she is pretty fine the way she is. Her biggest issue is that when opponents make it over 100% and have Tasmanian trigonometry, I’ve realized that her up special doesn’t connect. As a result, I have adapted to a more horizontal play style too as she really excels at that thanks to her air neutral attack. The only immediate issue is her side special, both. Like you said, it being a dash can be annoying to get hit by a random batarang. It ruins the reward of hitting the dagger on the opponent, but the other issue is the spinning attack. Too many times it connect every hit just to not hit the last blow, which has cost me many kills. It’s best use right now is as recovery.

I really wanted ayra to be good in this game as she was one of my favourite characters in GOT bit I guess I’ll have to keep playing supes until she becomes viable

You make some good points but the dagger shouldn’t be a teleport, she can’t actually teleport, a quick dash makes more sense.

Not a huge fan of the dagger idea, we don't want Arya to become better batman, that's for sure. If you really want to balance up+b, I think the best way is to nerf the up+b combo into up air at lower percent, and have a specific window of the combo working (ex 95 to 135 %). I think this is a main problem in general, there's too much combo that works at any percent.

Great changes, but another change I’d make is that the knife shouldn’t count as a projectile. I hate when the knife clanks with a weak projectile and I can’t use it again until cooldown. I think it should be able to phase through light projectiles like Baterang and pie.

What do you think about a charged knife attack that acted as a true projectile? I concur with all your other proposals 👍 great content keep it up.

I think they should also buff some of her attacks by a little to encourage something outher than spaming

Ok, so there’s only one major problem with this rebalance for Arya. And it’s the same combo. The reason why up b up air is so strong is because up air kills so early. The only way to truly nerf the combo is to either nerf up air kill power or change up b. Arya is an assassin, so I don’t think her kill power should be gutted. Personally, I think a better way to change Arya would be to have her up b work similarly to how it does currently but with some changes. First, the trajectory the opponent is sent at for her up b should be fixed and based on Arya’s relative position. Second, perks like Tasmanian Trigonometry should not be able to influence it. This would solve all of the inconsistencies with the move. Arya will always “teleport” to the same position and the opponent will “teleport” either at her position or to either side depending on their DI. Arya will always be able to get a guaranteed follow up, but you would have to react to DI. I’m no Arya main, but I feel having her up b up air be 100% consistent no matter the DI is way too strong even if the second time in a row introduces attack decay. Also, your change wouldn’t even fix the combo entirely. If you stick them with the dagger, you’d still be able to do up b up air cheese off the top (especially in 2s) or even up b sair into teleport up b up air for the same cheese kills.

Talk like this about Giant. Like I definitely watched a giant get his whooped in this video in the same mmr as you. And watching him, there was not much he could've done differently and still won unless you made 100 more mistakes minimum.

I think it her up special should do damage but it should only do 3 damage so the light up special and up special balance out at 10 damage.

the second perk is really good for twos tho. why take out the better one just because the one for 1v1 is mid

conclusion make arya dominated meta, maybe not dominated but it would make her mostly dominate the leaderboards, since if you check the leaderboard its mostly batman , bugs , shaggy and i think the top 3 player uses arya

Hit prio on arya is higher than most of Supermans moves. Arya cant be touched in top or bottom while in animation

Not a fan of the idea that move does zero damage. Maybe reduce, but a move should always do damage unless it does something insane. Like I wouldn't mind her stun doing zero damage if the stun lasted 3 times as long. Also you spread some misinformation in the video. Down special is not her only armor break move. The tornado is also an break armor move. Also you forgot about her passive where she gains armor break for a short period of time if she successfully spot dodges.

Arya is literally balanced right now, she is at least A tier but is def B if not that. Literally some of the best Arya players say she is great but some people clearly don't understand how to play her. So stop complaining and get good.
