just tried this seed and theres a poly red seal steel king in ante 12 pack, right as he decides to skip packs.... so sad

I think hiker was extremely valuable in this deck. Effectively added permanent +2 mult to every scored card, so typically +10 per played hand. I dont think burnt joker can pick up that amount of slack

Yesterday I got a run with the Checkered Deck where my first two jokers were Burnt and Blueprint, in like shop 3 I also got Four Fingers and a Negative Troubadour, so I was guaranteed to hit a Flush to discard or play in every single hand, then I got Constellation and the Tribe to multiply that huge base mult By round 9 (before finding Troubadour) I got it to level 13 and by the final boss it was at level 47, pretty cool run

for future reference, if you delete a 'debuffed' card from your deck with Canio it doesn't count as destroying a face card. so if a boss debuffs all diamonds and you remove a debuffed diamond face card, canio doesn't get the mult increment. had to learn that the hard way 😭

I can't believe they made a roguelike for gambling addicts who were born in Las Vegas. It's amazing really.

Doesn't midas affect all played cards? So when you were playing high card. shouldnt you have played all the nongold?

Am I missing something? He scores so far above the threshold in the mid-game I can't figure out why he discards his normal cards for more steels instead of turning them all gold. Someone explain please 😭

I enjoy Roffle’s videos and watch them frequently. I can say many many good things about him, however I must get it off my chest that the only thing I can’t stand that he does is takes vampire when it literally makes zero sense just like in this run. If he’s going for high card like he says he’s eventually building towards, selling burnt joker for a dumbass vampire that he admits isn’t going to last forever is the dumbest move. Okay I’m done whining like a little girl about something that doesn’t affect me in the slightest lol that being said, I love his videos 99% of the time. The other 1% is taking stupid ass vampire when it makes no sense 😂🤣

You buy vouchers too early and ruin econ, waste/hold joker slots for no reason, and don't understand +mult/xmult/chips ratios. Lucky with that invis joker you held for so long. Terrible plays on an incredibly easy seed
