Whay haven’t you reviewed the Ultimate Chess set Version 3.0 in appliance white and black pieces from American Chess Equipment and Shelby Lohrman’s revival of a great set that doesn’t have a problem with loosened weights? I’m still waiting to see that review.

You should really consider getting the Bobby Fischer Ultimate Chess Pieces from American Chess Equipment. This is quite literally the perfect chess set. If it wasn't for the Knight design. It would be in my opinion.

Nice video! I think one of the main reasons for supplying the silicone boards is that they can be folded very compactly for the boxes without suffering from creases. Vinyl boards would not fair as well, in that respect, in those box sizes.

Good quality set. I'd give it a 9 on a 1 - 10 scale. A slightly taller queen would be an improvement, otherwise not much to complain about.

This chess set looks like a very close copy of the original 1849 Staunton set . . . I have the wooden repo of it . . . the plastic pieces look extremely nice . . . might have to give it a try . . . plus that size belongs on at least a 60mm square.

Hello sir, I have ordered this particular set (XL Heavy Weight Edition) and it is on its way. I have been wanting to see the difference between this one and The Best Chess Set Ever, but noone has yet to have a video that compares the two quad weighted sets. Could you please make one that compares them? By watching individual videos and sites of them, I don't notice much, if any, difference. is there a color difference between the white (or off white, beige maybe?) pieces between The Best Chess Set Ever and The Perfect Chess Set? I've watched all of your videos, and I've enjoyed every one of them! I'm a happy subscriber. Thank you! :)

My Drueke chess set is the best plastic chess set on the planet. But my dog chewed up a couple pieces. I've been searching for years and can't find the equivalent. :(

Its a pretty good set, Idk if I would call it the best.

I think the Bishop is a little too tall, and the Queen could be a little bit taller, especially where most Queens have their crown top knot higher than the surrounding pointy things. At least that is how I like my Queens to appear. And the Bishops hat could be shorter and fatter, I don't like Bishops with a too narrow hat, makes them look too much like pawns (I have bad eyes).
