G. Bush analogy of trading a first round pick for second round picks is like saying why have millions when I can have thousands.

Not only is Brad’s wanting to trade Chubb pretty laughable, he also wants to get Eli Apple? Let me guess, it’s because he’s a Buckeye. Kind of shocked all of his signings and draft picks weren’t OSU alums.

TB trades No. 27 to JAX Date: April 28, 2022 The Jacksonville Jaguars traded to get back into the first round, sending a second-round pick (No. 35), a fourth-round pick (No. 106) and a sixth-round pick (No. 180) to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the Bucs' first-round pick (No. 27). The Jaguars used the No. 27 pick on Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd.

Trading in to the first without giving up a first. BULL take a look.

Going from 27 to 35 is a lot less than going all the way to 42 or 43 where the Browns are. You have to look at the draft pick number, not just the round. Not all 2nd round picks are equal!

@David Crow yes but you can give a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, and you'll be fine. Jags gave 2nd, 4th and 6th.

Everybody keep talking about DPJ not being fast but his 40 time speaks otherwise 4.48. Especially when you compare it to Josh down 4.48 and Tyler Scott 4.44

@@Crow_927 what you think and what you can see is two different things. Before Donovan became Mr. Contested catch he average 21.7 ypc (14 rec) 17.6 ypc (34 rec), 13.8 ypc (61 rec) to say he not a down field type is untrue. To say he adjusted to what he was made into would be more accurate. His first two year he was the downfield threat was literally are only big play through the air.

He is straight track speed 4.4. He isnt football field 4.4. And contact, hesitation, slow down causes him to lose momentum and not be a 4.4
@aaronburr4137
@aaronburr4137 Год назад
@@jaredschwieterman8383 did I say football speed or did I say he was not fast. Gain y’all missing my point a 4.44 is a 4.44. Jarvis Landry was slow running a 4.7 at 190 lbs dpj is not slow he may not be able to shift gears or make sudden cut
@jaredschwieterman8383
@jaredschwieterman8383 Год назад
@@aaronburr4137 jarvis is quick, not fast. Dpj speed just doesn't translate to the field because he speed from 1 yd to 10 yds is slow. When you run in a straight line 4.44 aren't all created equal. That's why a lot of nfl teams look at the 10 yd and 20 yd splits on the 40

NEVER TRADE CHUBB. But if we did he’s worth a 1st rounder. Anywhere else he’d have the rushing title every year

I’m not so sure about that. We have been a running team with KS and have an amazing run blocking line

I would not trade Chubb right now, but I would definitely trade or cut him once his production falls off in about 3 years. It is all about production, right now Nick Chubb's production is high, but sooner or later he will lose a step and his production will fall off.
@cottonwoodslim3497
@cottonwoodslim3497 Год назад
It's crazy to even consider trading Chubb. Having more players doesn't increase success. You'd be trading a generational player for scrubs

@@cottonwoodslim3497 Running Backs are not as highly regarded as they once were. The Tennessee Titans are shopping Derrick Henry and the Vikings are listening to offers for Delvin Cook. The normal shelflife for a running back is 3 to 5 years and Nick Chubb just completed his 5th year. The Browns have extended Nick Chubb's shelflife by splitting carries with Kareem Hunt, which probably added another 2 years to Nick Chubb's shelflife, but make no mistake, the Browns will move on from Nick Chubb in a couple years. It does not matter how popular he is with the fans, as soon as his prodruction drops off he will be gone. That is why the Browns keep draft running backs, so that they can prepare for the inevitible.

If chubb were to get traded, we'd be moving backwards. I kno Watson is an elite QB. But this is Nick chubbs team, on top of that Watson hasn't had the caliber running back since Adrian foster(I think Chubb is better). Horrible idea.

@@StevenC32 I love Brad too but his logic is faulty. Trading Chubb can only hurt the team. Taking away a super star to draft a bunch of scrubs does not make a team better.
