because you can cook frags to explode as soon as their near the enemy you actually have a chance to run from c4s

@@TopkidJxycooking a frag leaves you vulnerable to a swing and there are many gadgets that can counter them. C4 has a similar throw distance with a shorter time to use, a bigger and more damaging explosion, and no way to counter it besides shorting it in the air.

@@TopkidJxy Not really lol, and you can hear someone pull the pin from a frag just like you can hear the velcro or whatever on nitro. Nitro also has a way larger range and destruction radius than frags ever did. And on top of that, way way way more defenders have nitro than attackers have frags, as well as 2 operators, technically 3, designed to COUNTER frags and other projectiles

@@Manticore2026 the only gadgets i can think of the top of my head that counter frags are ads and wamai’s gadget other than that how else are you gonna counter a grenade and even then the gadgets won’t do anything if they grenade from below

@@TopkidJxy biotic arm chick has her barricades, castle does a great job preventing frags LOS from certain windows and doorways, same with an Azami barricade as it can eat a frag intended for you.
